Monk H2H Weapon progression

Starting out MNK, and I was looking at the weapons available over the first 50 levels or so. This was the progression I had in mind. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know what you think.

Cesti +1 > Legionares Knuckles > Republic Knuckles > Boreas Cesti > Mythril Knuckles +1 > Exocets > TM +2

Is the low damage on Tropical Punches +1 worth the low delay?

Also, I'm not planning on buying Cross Counters...maybe would try to camp or BCNM them if people really think they're worth it.
