a friend of mine does this and apparently you can set parameters that a chime will go off if someone says the word "bot" or whatever you set it to

I'm sure other things could be set, like item trades, trade window open for X amount of time, or any spell that changes area cast upon you

also, stackable items like distilled water are silly, as a very basic feature of the windower is autosort (and I think you can do it in regular ffxi now, not sure, I don't play non-windower), trade nonstackable cheap items like mamool ja collars from merit (can't npc, worth junk on AH)

Just confirming the Autosort on the stock Final Client, as I almost always have it on my 360, as it makes XP grinding much nicer, when you don't have to juggle free slots to make those stacks of crystals, etc.

He's been reported many times yet I would assume whenever a GM comes knocking he's instantly there. Ah, name is Lris, check it's auction house history. Any and all ideas are appreciated, help me better mess with a bot and it's profits!

Lris was on Hades for a long time ... wonder if it's the same guy. Hasn't been around lately but obvious bot was obvious. Figured he got banned, sucks if he just server transferred. :/

Just go stand next to the bot, it will teleport you automatically without trading it gil.

I love the telebots. 1k gil, any tele/recall/retrace, any time of day, without the normal BS. So many players are too lazy to do it themselves and at odd hours like 5 AM it can be nearly impossible to find one for 30+ minutes. And they don't pull the stupid "hang on, let me invite 3 other people and do all 4 different teles at once" crap. They're not stealing farming mobs, botting claims for stuff people want, and with the insane lack of general playerbase desire to telewhore for gil anymore, not really stealing anyone's business. I'd be happy if the RMT decided to stop farming shit and just conglomerated into China Airways all day long for gil, people get cheap quick teleports, and no more competition at camps.

For those of us who DO still try to teleport people for gil (and I'll be honest, I don't anymore) it's impossible to beat the bots at invites. It used to be easy for me to make a decent amount of gil on WHM with little effort, now, I can't get my invites off fast enough to beat the bots.

More people would probably spend their time teleporting people legitimately if they could get their invites off before the telebots.

This. After leveling whm as main, I can't bring myself to use a telebot.

I can't believe this fucking shit is still going on. I GM'd and STF'd people on Kujata for this a year ago almost every day before I left for Peace Corps. Sure they're convenient for those of you lucky enough to be in a situation where you don't have to make gil from doing teles, but for me, when I did it, I had to set up a mule freezing the tele taxier just so I could get a chance at inviting. Of course, eventually all my mules were blacklisted so that didn't work. Those at SE never cease to amaze me at their slow fixing of this.
