    Free Alienware® T-Shirt: Free Alienware® T-Shirt - Black
    I'll take it!

No, really though, I'd go with the alienware.

I'd make sure you have a soundcard set up. Creative just released their ExpressSlot Card, first sound card for a PCIexpressSlot on laptops anyway. The rest of each of those configs sounds good. Oh, and I wouldn't worry about SLI iVideo Cards...seriously any 512 GeForce will run great for laptops SLI or Not.

This has got to be too good a deal to be true... Laptop with the newest nVidia card with DX10 support, 2gb memory, 2.2ghz core 2 duo... the only drawback I see is the size which is:

    41 * 31.5 * 4.6 cm(W x D x H)
    4.4 Kg (8-cell)

    16.1" * 12.4" * 1.8" (WxDxH in inches)
    9.7 lbs.

Should I still go with the first laptop I posted, which is .4 inches thinner but has an older video card without DX10 support?

Also there is the loss of memory in the video card from the first one to this one, 512MB to 256MB but will that matter since the newer card should outperform the older card theoretically? Also is the TurboCache on the newer card really going to improve it to 512MB like it seems to be trying to lead me to believe?

    EDIT

    Holy shit Asus fucking rocks:

I've got to be missing something here... I can even beef up that processor and the memory to 3GB (only offers 1xGB + 2x1GB for some weird reason..) and still be under 2k lol.... I've got to be missing something...
