Quick Noob Limbus Question

If you wipe in Limbus are mobs supposed to go back to their original positions?

One run we made a break for the teleporter and one guy didn't make it. He said the mobs didn't move back, they just stayed at his dead body. Another run I was the one who didn't make it and the mobs walked back to their original positions allowing me to RR and catch up.

What gives?

Monsters shouldnt have aggroed if he had reraise. They stayed on the teleport because they still have aggro on the rest of the party but whoever is reraising should be fine. I've seen it happen a few time. Well, I cant speak for every area, maybe they wont path back in some of them, but they normally do.

This happened to us a long time ago in Apollyon.
Since we were only like 6 people that time, the other 5 just logged out for a second, that caused the mobs to move away finally.
Usually we never skip floors or mobs except somtimes Tonberrys in Temenos
and Monkey Floor in Apollyon.

Anyway that guy is right. Happened befor to us as well.

Yeah, it's because people were still alive. I recall an Apollyon NW where we split up towards the end, the 3 BLMs and a RDM stayed up to kill the wyrm while everyone else got started on Behemoths. They aggro'd KB and wiped, and the Kronoprintz Behemoths stayed near the place where you get warped down to when you move up a floor. The wyrm team had to log to make them move.

Limbus doesn't always follow traditional rules.

I've had that situation with the tonberries myself too. You can definately hear them constantly aggro something (when they *chuckle*) even though the rest of the alliance already moved up to the next floor.

Hi2u 3/5 AF+1 before my Bard was lvl 60.

Coiled Yarn drops like no one's business...however the last Temenos we did dropped 2x SMN 1x RDM 2x BRD, so it wasn't a total loss. The apollyon we did yesterday, dropped BLM SMN RNG THF PLD WARx2, so...aside from the WARx2(eww) good stuff. And yes, i've noticed weired Limbus mob movement. It's been awhile since ive actually wiped on a Limbus run, however if a wipe is coming I usually stay down till it's done, so I don't screw myself over.

Heh, last Temenos we did was 4x SAM 1x RDM and 1x something. Tossed 2 out of 4 sams faster then they dropped, lol.

I was actually looking for BRD AF+1 upgrades in Limbus last night, but none dropped. I did end up with a BST item though - had to stop the party from tossing it out, lol. Yay for being the only BST in the LS.
