Except your forgetting a few facts, According to article 4 of the TOS (Or another article) Playonline and Final Fantasy XI are immune to any internet law policies, and also POL accounts are not your property you are paying for access to use them while they remain POLs property the whole time (Kinda why they can shut off your connection at any time)

3.2 Indemnification.
