So wait ... you're complaining about the Khroma price that you guys drove up by more than 200% over the last 2-3 weeks?Originally Posted by Jackyl

Very nice discovery indeed.
You can solo QQTH in 3rd floor without letting him run to his other endpoint. Managed to kill both QQTHs and 3 Archaic Gears next floor.
Again wonderful discovery this will make Arrapago a freindly salvage farming area.

Nope, did you fail to see the laughing face? We didn't drive up any prices, we merely fixed it. Imp. wootz ingots were going for 600-650k yet khroma ores were going for 130k which were being camped by random blacksmiths hoping to make a quick buck. We got tired of competing for ores against said crafters so we fixed the price to what it should be. Also, we wanted to drive people to go do more ISNM's and mine mt.zhayolm - 300k is a nice chunk of change nowadays and we knew the supply would become more abundant once we fixed the price.Originally Posted by Rai
As you can see from the AH history, we were right. Since we fixed the price, there has been a 700-900% increase in the number of khroma ores coming into the market. Now stop your crying.
Yeah, Imp. Wootz ingots were going for 600k (compared to 300-400k) lately but only after you guys drove up the price on it. I guess it did make sense to "fix" the ore price so you have to pay more for those as well ...Originally Posted by Jackyl
The only "700-900%" increase is the ores you're actually able to buy since no one else is stupid enough to pay the inflated price. I seriously doubt that people went "Oh shit son, khroma went up from 150 to 300k, LET'SA GO MINING AND ISNM'ING YO!".
Besides, who's crying? Certainly not me since I never planned to get my ore off AH to begin with. That's what ISNMs are for. All I'm doing is letting out a chuckle whenever you proudly announce another bodypiece you completed for the small fee of ~7M Gil.
(Sorry for the derail, I'll stop here!)
Wrong. Imp. wootz ingots were going for 600k before we fixed the price. You have to pay for your own imp wootz ingots? lol. That's what LS banks are for. Have fun with your ISNM's, you might complete a body in October (2008 if everyone is keeping their own ores lol)
You're wrong, LS banks are for lining the pockets of the shellholder and his e-girlfriend.Originally Posted by Jackyl
I second this, please tell us, this would make 3rd floor one much easier.Originally Posted by Magos
Not sure if this would help any, but I remember a while ago testing to see what happens when you try to enter with a cell in your inventory and got this:

Notice everyone else still went in, makes me curious to see if it would work for this. Anyone wanna try having their 5 friends carry cells while you go in and see if it automatically locks them out?
If anyone in the alliance has cells, nobody can enter.
Did you completely ignore that screenshot?
No
Thanks for the test. Pay no attention to divisortheory.
maybe purchasing the cells while someone is connecting to server or w/e lame shit goes on locks out that person.
Considering that this happens at least once a week to my group and we are unable to enter until people throw out their cells, I dont' see where the contention is. It looks to me like the person purchased a cell from an outsider's bazaar the second the order was given to enter salvage. After the group's entry had been approved by the server, but before their commands were locked. Everyone else entered, one person was forced out. Feel free to try it yourself, be prepared to be wrong though.Originally Posted by aurik
The contention is that you said "if anyone has cells, the nobody can enter" when the screenshot clearly shows the alliance entered even though a single person had cells and was rejected.Originally Posted by divisortheory
Next time you want to assert something, double check that you aren't contradicting screenshot evidence in the post immediately previous to yours.
The entry occurred at a time when the person did not have cells.Originally Posted by aurik

Something I've never tried, but always wondered is if you had a 7 people, one 6 player party + 1 player party, the leader of the 6 player stays in whitegate, you use the d/c trick to send that 1 player in, then have the 6 player party leader reinvite the players when they log back in and they enter the same zone.
Could this possibly lead to shared loot pools in 2 separate instanced events? I would think not....but worth testing.
I think I recall someone trying that before, and it didn't work. It's one of those things where even though they're in the same zone, their names are greyed out and it shows the name of the zone they're in instead of their health bars, etc.
Correct. (99% sure at least. >_>)Originally Posted by divisortheory
