Is Warp based on it's HP remaining, or time since it's been aggroed?
I want to assume it can't be stunned, because that doesn't seem very SE-like to allow it.

It only warps when it gets to it's telepad. And it only goes to it's telepad if you get too close to it and push it back or if you are too far away.
I'm going to guess it just doesn't have the mp to warp, but it seems kind of pointless discussing it because every time I've seen it run out of mp it seems to lose all interest in walking towards the telepad.
basically dot bio2/poison2 , never nuked unless mp was over 200 since i had no magic cell my total mp was 240 as elvaan :e , nukes unresisted take around 4% . never cast grav and bind at once and only use when needed , it loses aggro alot so i had to wait untill its out of the room a bit then get it back and yes not having a thf is a bit badOriginally Posted by Neosutra
kiting it without gravity is not hard , as long as u keep running in a square around those in the corners , not sure what they are called in english but as long as u run behind them then chariot will not run across room and just keep running around those too which keeps a big distance
didn't parse it , but i ate 2 AM1 and at least 15 tier4 then it ran out of mp. never thought of chainspell aspir because i mostly sub nin for shadows
Any idea how much MP it had? I wonder what Chainspell Aspir would do.
i'm not sure, but i noticed since i only started to claim it from the other side than porter it never warped. i mean like from the stairs under it and just kept staying at same spot , it runs around and come back to me and never warped so far. eat all spells it cast exept ga just run back then move back to ur spot and try to not move more toward it or it will keep moving back more till it reaches the tele, didn't try to make it go to tele when it was out of mp to make sure if warp is a magic spell or notYou know, I thought about that. Is Warp considered something separate from regular magic spells for the QQAs? Like when you run them outta mp, and they run to the teleport pad, they can't warp @ all? Or is it like some special JA that allows them to warp anyways?
And nice job on the Chariot. Sucks it drops nothing for any of my jobs besides those crappy whm/brd/smn hands. ><
thats true , once it runs out of mp it just runs around u doing nothing not even hitting u . actually it does hit with dagger but it only does that once every 1 min or so for 1 hit only so its not a big dealOriginally Posted by Waef
I was wondering if anyone could give me a slightly more detailed explanation of how QQTH on the 4th floor works. Like where does it run too, is it possible to stay in the same room the whole time and have it run back, what corner to invisible and stand in, and anything else that would help. After reading im just a little bit confused on some stuff. Seems easy, just confused a bit.
Tried this for the first time, duo'd rdm/nin and blm/. On Floor 4, he can run from his spawn at the >5th floor telepad back to the pad you started from in the center. He can sit at either telepad to de-aggro at. You can't just sit at one telepad because he can decide to stay at the 2nd one and then start regening once DOT wears. I wish I read up more and carefully when I decided to try, because we died horribly and it really does sound easier than we tried ; ;Originally Posted by LakshmiPuba
My run today was productive, 2x QQTH 1x QQA and the Archaic Chariot. I skipped the 2nd floor QQA to make sure I had enough time for the chariot. I think it's going to be my default path now, 3rd floor QQTH > fourth floor QQTH > Archaic Chariot > 5th floor QQA(if I have time), this will give me a chance at Usukane legs every run.
The chariot is very possible solo without much trouble(you don't need w legs or anything that doesn't come in the chest), although it's a good idea to bring reraise. It can floor you if you quickly if you make a sinlg mistake and it feels like being a bastard.
Anyways, I'm around 0/30 (I haven't really been recording). I'm curious, has anybody actually gotten a Macha's Coat solo? I know Odog/Soraan got one duo. If you read this, can you please post anything you can recall about that run(any random mobs you may have killed, etc.)?
Hmm, we didn't do anything different that run rly. We just killed 1 lamia on first floor for another magic cell (lucky it dropped), ported up... Killed QQA 2nd floor, no drop. Killed north QQTH 3rd floor, no drop. Ported up. Killed QQTH 4th floor, got macha's coat. Killed 5th floor QQA, no drop. It was just a normal run.Originally Posted by Mojo
Just got lucky on the drop I guess.

Was showing a friend how to do the solo thing and it finally decided to drop @_@
3/24 Khroma ore.
Hmm so which room do you bring the chariot to? the smaller room right before the big room?Originally Posted by Mojo
And how do you kill the gears? Dot/kite?
And what about the rampart?
Hmm or do you go to the teleporter and kiteit around that and just try to avoid all the gears? I think Im answering my own questions here >.<
I bring it to the room with the teleporter and four pillars. You're pretty much right on, I avoid linking the gears when I pull it. The rampart doesn't link, make sure you sneak/invis when you go past it. It seems pretty random when it wants to aggro, so better safe than sorry.
Well Ive read up on it...got all geared up...and cant go lol...hard to drag 5 people up there in my shell. >.<pp
I'm still having a bit of trouble with the chariot. Our base group is rdm blm thf, how much time is needed to kill the chariot with just Bio2/Poison2? I'm not sure what the rdm was casting, was kinda faced down a lot ; ; In 10 minutes, we only got 25% down.
Without an MP cell, I'd say it probably takes around 45 minutes, possibly longer. I'm not certain to be honest. This is with Poison II, Bio II, and the occasional Blizzard III.
To allow enough time to reliably take down the chariot, I'd say skip 2F QQA as a general rule of thumb. Solo, If everything goes perfect(without any additional cells), you can feasibly do 3F QQTH > 4F QQTH > Archaic Chariot > 5F QQA every time, but I recommend leaving the 5F QQA for last as bad luck can easily make you time out.
I think our main problem is that we spend too much time on Floor1. With our base group of RDM BLM THF, we tend to try and farm a 3rd weapon cell. #1 Incus-thf #2 Rdm #3 Blm, we get the 3rd weapon for extra nukes, but I guess it's not all that necessary, timespent farming Incus takes away from nuking time anyways. We also like to farm HP/MP cells, but that can be skipped too. Most people spend only 5-10 mins on 1F so I'll try that next time too ^^
Give the weapon to BLM and RDM and screw the thief.Originally Posted by fishstix
I agree... TH3 would be nice, but definitely not worth the trouble.Originally Posted by divisortheory

I've never gotten a ring cell while doing solo/duo runs. ; ;
same ._. and yeah, things will either drop or not I guess, and sometimes, it's a real pain to get more weapon cells. I think we'll try this next time ^^Originally Posted by Soraan
