Askar Korazin Vs. Hauberk(+1)

I can see Askar body being potentially useful to a SAM who is trying to fill out his 6-hit setup... Typically you see SAMs wearing store TP gear on their hands or feet. Using this body armor would free up that hand/feet slot for something like dusk gloves or fuma sune-ate.

Freeing up more slots for haste is always welcome in my book, that is assuming you can handle the loss of accuracy from haubergeon.

Yeah, thats pretty much what I came up with as well. On paper at least it looks awesome, but I'd want to parse it before I believed it.

Using this setup and getting Madrigal from a bard, could this possibly reduce enough hits to really make a

I got a real question which relates nicely to this. Askar Zuchetto or Walmart Turban? From my understanding stats like STR/DEX are lawl for TP gain but do they in fact beat out 1% haste for the head slot? (could compare it to Blitz Ring vs Rajas Ring but its not the same slot so don't)

I'd wear the Zuchetto personally, some more Str never hurt, Dex that might help crit tier and adds a smidgeon of Acc, for 1% Haste+not having the same turban everyone else has on?

7 acc, 4 str, 4 haste.

Personally, for jobs that can use all three, I'd order it Ace's Helm > Askar Helm > Turban. Most people can afford to sacrifice 1% haste when the tradeoff involves acc/atk/str/dex etc, considering they're probably using a 15-20% haste setup, along w/ 1 march and the haste spell.

And yes, Askar body qualifies as almost awesome, would've been pretty amazing if that evasion had been accuracy instead.

rajas + brutal + askar body + Chiv chain = 6 hit Drk/sam and with 297 scythe skill there is no need for sushi or hauby for that matter but i would still use hauby on war anyday over askar varies with the player.

i agree hauby over askar it varies with the player also skill and pressing engage fast i outparse everyone with hauby askar is good too for sam it's the best i hate sentence structure hope this helps cya

Slight idea although it's probably stupid...
If they already have rajas on the ring finger they can take it off and rplace it with sniper+1 or toreador's resulting in them only losing about 5 acc while geaining the measly 2 atk and 2% double attack from the body duing the tp phase.
