And even in a lot of LS' fighting Tiamet the only people touching her are Smns, and tanks. The rest control adds.

Ifrit - Keston > Rumored to be moving to Bahamut

This post is entirely too long and not worth reading unless this person applys to your LS.

Well, atm this is a mainly a rumor but I was asked to post about him after sending a PM to someone to confirm the rumor. Also after seeing that Keston bought up a bunch of high priced gear in what looks like an attempt to make some gil by sever transfer, I figured I would make a post.

Keston is one of the biggest jokes on the server. He is a horrible player and a complete asshole. He likes to say he is just being truthful to people and they can’t handle it but he quite simply is just a bully and a jerk. Keston has like 9+ 75 jobs and sadly, still does not understand simple game mechanics. He is one of the worst players I have played with. I have watched him feebly attempt to tank Gods, nuke HNMs and everything, as I used to be in a LS with him a long time ago. He had a bit of a knack for leading events but he took alot of the fun out of them by simply being an asshole to people.

Keston is also one of the most selfish people I have met. He used to always go whatever job HE wanted to go as to events, regardless of what we asked him to come or needed. We had no tanks at one event and instead of gearing up PLD like we asked, he came DRG. At a different Sky event I can recall myself and others asking him to come BLM because we were short on them, instead he again came DRG.

Keston is also a very petty person. He and another LSmate got into fight once at Ose camp. The other person died trying to kill Ose and got mad and cussed Keston out because though Keston’s intentions of helping were nice, he was trying to duo Ose as DRG/WHM and RDM. Keston died very quickly and the RDM solo’d Ose to about 10%, when Keston decided to help some and melee again despite the RDM asking him not too. Well, Keston got them both killed again and the RDM was pissed and yelled at him. Keston blisted her and would not take her off no matter what. This person was someone who helped to lead many events for the LS and despite everyone in the LS asking Keston to unblist her he would not do so. She even got on her mules to try and apologize and talk to him and he blisted her mules. Quite simply, if you disagree with him, he flips on you and never gives you a second chance.

He even attempted to shout recruit and run his own LS, after being kicked from or leaving on bad terms from basically every major shell on Ifrit. Sadly, his LS was beyond sub-par and they never really made a noise in the endgame community. He eventually, supposedly had irl issues and broke the LS suddenly, only to return to the game and a new LS 2 months later.

Keston is one of those players who looks good on paper, knows how to bullshit just enough to sound good and then when you find out all about him, you regret giving him a chance. I could go on and on about this self-centered, egotistical, lousy player but there isn't much point. To be honest, it would be nice to be rid of him.

This is just one of many topics that can be found about Keston. This shows just how much of a joke people think he is. There are many more threads but I am a bit too busy to look them up right now. He has posted a bunch on Alla I believe but I rarely check those forums so I wouldn’t know where he posted. Maybe someone else will post them or confirm my rantings.

There is a lot of shit talking and crap in the thread and possibly some stuff NSFW just fyi. I posted where the Keston bashing began, there are a few posts before it about his view of his LS history but it’s nothing great. The thread just kinda shows you what an idiot he is and what some people on Ifrit think of him.

I was PTing with him in Boyahda Tree. We had just started pulling some crawlers to exp off of them. I was playing RDM and I think Keston was playing BLM. Anyways, the puller got a link. Attempts to sleep the link failed. So, the 2nd crawler was beating up the PT pretty bad.

Knowing that crawlers loose hate over water - I managed to get hate on me from the link and then ran off with it. Crossed some water and the crawler de-agroed. Well, I run back to the PT feeling pretty good since I had saved the PT. But, instead of a thank you Keston says to me do your job and Refresh me.

I explained that I had just pulled away the link. And Keston says some crappy remark. At this point, everyone in the PT is telling him to shut up. So, what does Keston do .. he warps out. At this point, one of the other players on the PT says he is the leader of the linkshell that Keston is in. And he is fed up with the constant crap from Keston. So, he breaks Keston's pearl.

That was the first and last time I ever PTed with Keston.

Random Keston stories! This is my favorite thread yet.

So, I'm in PD with the guy, and he asks for help on Ose. I'm like sure, for a chance to lot, I'll help camp.

Thinking he'd come on BLM or NIN or something, I'm like we'll have an easy time. I was 71+ RDM at the time and had successfully solo-ed Ose when I first hit 71...

Keston: I'll come DRG......sub whm.
Me: I'm not really sure that'll work... he hits hard, fast, and I'll either take hate curing, or run out of mp.
Keston: I'm a damn good DRG, I know what I'm doing. Just keep me refreshed and we're fine.
Me: K?

So, we head down there, it pops, we claim, start fighting...

Withing seconds he's dead. I switch to Sleep Nuke, and am doing fine, while he's raised from a nearby party and resting it off...

I'm about 10-5% away from winning the fight, and...

keston: Can I melee?
Me: No, couple more, I got this, it's ok...

I get para, and am working through it... It's happened plenty of times before... and I see him start to engage....

I nearly die irl. I've just soloed 80% of the mobs health, he's attacking and I've obviously got hate, low health from the para, and I can't sleep.

I die, and get piiiiiiissssssssseeed and call him out on his stupidity.

Ok, I admit, I was a bit harsh, but oh man, is he fuckin' stupid of what? There's no excuse for that kind of stupidity.

He Blacklists me, and for a bit we move on...

Eventually I come to a position where I am leading Sky events in PD... and he's still got me blacklisted. He's missing half of entire conversations and getting uterrly lost.

I even apologized at one point, saying we needed to put this past us, be civil and at least leave communication lines open for LS stuff.

He whines, bitches and refuses, and ultimately has everyone in the shell pissed that he won't work for the LS...

Ends up leaving and making his own LS that I heard shitty things about.

But whatever.

I find myself in the very unusual position of agreeing with everything Judai just posted about Keston. In fact, I think we should be seeing Keston on BG shortly, as his flamedar seems to know exactly where and when someone manages to string together the letters K-E-S-T-O-N. He'll come here just for the sake of arguing until the death, even if you started it by mentioning his Wyvern Scale armor has a slight smudge on it, of which he would promptly state that his armor has no smudges, because his armor is impeccable, and you're a blind noob who needs to get their eyes checked, and learn to appreciate the fine workmanship of his armor.
