It's funny hearing all this talk about being "fair" coming from someone in FA. No offense meant to your LS, but you guys have never been about doing things "fairly" or "nicely". You've always been about doing anything it takes to get what you want, and there's not really anything wrong with that, but it does remove any right you have to whine at other LSs to be "fair".

It's sad that there are still people out there who group individual behaviors with the linkshell they belong to. Whatever you may or may not think about someone's linkshell, it does not preclude him from being an individual. Whether or not the linkshell agrees with his behavior is another story; the point here is that they are his actions, not his linkshell's.

Miji, truer words haven't been spoken, but I don't think either of our LSs are blameless when it comes to attributing individual actions to the whole LS. However, a certain amount of that is inevitable because while his actions are his alone, the consequences of his actions can affect both other members of FA itself and FA's reputation. When you give someone a pearl, they become, to an extent, a representative of your LS to the rest of the server, and regardless of how unfair it might seem, people will judge your LS by their actions.

I just want to make it clear that I never voked KV, nor would I ever try to "steal" an NM. I don't stoop to that level. I apologize if I came off rude arrogant or anything of that nature. I was there and I did make a GM call I'm not going to deny that. I hope we can move past this. You guys got the kill and grats on that. But I still maintain I did nothing wrong. Guess random ppl on that server should know he is a thief and not to trust him since he ran off with one of our 5 LS owned kraken clubs, along with others ppl's lent items like a Lu Shangs ect. Not a single person is sad to see the annoying little shit go and was worth the loss of a kraken to get rid of him. But he still remains a thief none the less. You can find him in Demo where they love that kinda shit.

I may have never played with him but I've talked with him enough to think that this is probably quite accurate. He really annoys me sometimes but he's never really seemed functionally retarded.

Final i disagree with the part of zetah being necessarily greedy, he missed one event b/c kamugi made him leave the alliance for one omega fight, so he earned everything he got from chikara.

Not so much in Chikara, because like you said, Kamugi and Toz kept them both in check. Kamugi even made Ryu disband his Dynamis shell that he was leading, if he wanted to stay in Chikara. And Ryu did it. Also I'm not saying he didn't earn the things he got in Chikara. Hell i'll go on record as saying i agree with you that he earned every single drop he ever got in chikara. His "M" body, homam pieces and anything else. He tanked his ass off for that LS. He can be a big jerk, but in chikara he worked his ass off. 6 and 7am faf/nid camps he was always there. Often the first, long after he got his M body.

That's why I say in chikara he was "ok" despite his jerk like ways at time. And i know when he trashed another LS he had a reason, an extreme reason yes. Zetah never had the chance to be greedy in Chikara, because Kam didn't allow it. When i mention greed, I'm talking more about how he was in other LS' because often times other LS' never kept him in check the way Kam did. Or even how like when Chikara was finally breaking he was going on and on about how he had no intention of staying with an LS that doesn't camp HNMs or do dynamis because he wanted other gear, and wanted Aegis, when Chikara became social to try and build up members again to do stuff. Those were words out his own mouth. That's also when he franticly began applying to the LS' he and everyone else KNEW he hated. He kept it a secret, but then those LS' he applied too, didn't keep it a secret about him applying to them.

Why else would someone apply to a LS they hate, if nothing but greed, and knowing they will get you stuff?

That's why I call him greedy. He was so quick to abandon that LS when they took a break from HNMing because the ldr's couldn't play the game anymore. I don't hate Zetah though, I can list both good and bad about him. I know for a fact that the closer people got in Chikara they began sharing some personal info, like home phone numbers so you can call people if a HNM popped up and you needed them. And I know that Zetah also had account info from certain Chikara members, so if they weren't around he could get them a drop they may miss, or dual box the character. That Taru smn, who's name I can't remember right now especially. Zetah never stole anything from their accounts, and never did anything underhanded with that info. They trusted him, and gave him their account info and he never fucked them over. So as i can list faults about him, I can list the good stuff. As i said before, it's all about what LS he is in, and what kind of ldrs it has, and what they allow him to get away with.

In the LS he's in now, he is left unchecked from what it's members tell me, and has become a problem.

I realize this post is old, but I decided I'd say something anyway. I would like to know who you are because I'm curious (I hate it when people don't use their in-game names for forum names). I quit the game a long time ago, deleted every single thing, so you guys don't have anything to worry about, but I still check these forums from time to time (mostly to discuss games that are fun). The game just became a time sink to me. I didn't even want to log on to do anything even more. Even on dynamis sponsored runs by myself I just didn't want to do anything at all in the game. I played the game for 3 years almost nonstop and it was just time to quit, completely burned out with no hope of rekindling. Celebration for many.

When I'm in a LS I like, I'll usually just stay in it. When I begin to not like it or there's problems, I leave. I left PV (didn't like the LS), zEUs (couldn't make events due to EU time), and CK (went to LaVienRose with other Chikara members). CT, PO, Chikara broke up. So while I've definately been in a lot of linkshells, lots have broken up, and since FFXI is basically worthless without a HNMLS in my eyes, I went to the next. What other people think of me I couldn't give two shits about, but I figured I'd just set that straight.

Chikara was my favorite LS. I was still an ass, but I was having fun. It wasn't a chore to wake up at 7 AM for Fafnir, it wasn't a chore to really do anything. I was passionate about the game. I liked most of everyone except emo Maylin, so everything was cool. Basically, I was doing stuff pretty often, I liked people, and I was getting stuff. Just a great linkshell to be in and I wanted it to last a long time. Despite what everyone else thinks, Kamugi's a decent leader and a very good person. I say decent because he's a lazy fucker but people like listening to him as well, myself included for the most part. The only thing that I really recall upsetting me was not being able to get anything because I didn't want to get all the avatars, and thus couldn't do the avatar fights for that BLU sword, but it only took a night or so anyway. Well, I was also annoyed when Saitoz called me for NQ tortoise, but that's minor.

I was upset that the LS broke obviously, to say I wasn't upset would be very incorrect (many have beared witness to my whining about Chikara breaking), but I only played the game to do things, and as far as I'm concerned, a social LS is worthless to me. Not actually doing stuff in FFXI is just an expensive AOL chatroom. Having item goals gives me things to do in the game, but there's no point if I'm not having any fun. Chikara broke, I applied a few places, then eventually just hung out with its fallout shell LaVienRose, although the remnants of Chikara members were few. Whether or not people think I'm a bad person is totally irrelevant to me now. I was always an asshole and I get annoyed really easily, regardless of whether I like the person or not. There are some people that are impossible for me to be mean to however, such as Pathos and Safron. I will say that a lot of my motivation was making sure other people got what they deserved as well. Help me get things, and I will do the same. I had favorites, but even people I didn't like I was happy to see get things.

And I never ever screwed up any of the accounts. Several people had my information as well. The only slight alterations I did would be little messages in Biimii / Kamugi's bazaar comments (I like twinks / Ix'drk positions). I wouldn't say I'm greedy neccesarily, I'm more concerned with doing something to keep myself entertained if anything. Items are a small part of that. I'll admit, however, that I am a perfectionist, and with that comes a bit of greed. I wanted Aegis because PLD without it pales in comparison to one with it, but I didn't even have the energy for that anymore, despite having the gil. Not only a perfectionist myself, but I want other people to perfect themselves as well. I would go all anal because Alita didn't pay much attention to haste% gear.

Shortly after I quit I logged on a different character for Jormungand as white mage and stayed until we wiped. Ryunoire said we "won," which was definately not the case since it was obvious we didn't. If he wanted to say we did a good job or something then he should've just said that, lying and sugarcoating shit doesn't do anything. Next day after my forum account was deleted by Ryunoire, so I cut off all communications and just dropped all my pop items so people would quit bothering me about them and to show that I didn't want to help out Ryunoire at all. I was quitting, I was selling my gil, my forum account is gone, nothing matters, and the last thing I want is for my log to be filled with people trying to talk to me about something when I'm busy selling stuff. Leaving on a good note or bad note doesn't matter very much when you aren't going to speak to those people whatsoever anymore. The last thing I wanted to do is help out Ryunoire, and I still feel that way.

Good. Just focusing on college and playing games that are fun. I would've figured that I'd miss FFXI after I quit, but I really don't. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is amazing. Anticipating Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, etc.

Posting this ahead of time in hopes that it causes him to quit instead. He'll be moving in 2-3 days, when his 90 day is up. This is the same person, Kiyuan = hume w/ black hair 75 rdm blm nin; Funeral = taru 75 smn whm pld. Noteable gear: rdm af2 body/hat...that's really about it for now. He will mostly likely change names.

What he did: tried to ninja sell gaiters two days after he got them from his ls. There's plenty of proof, but I think everyone involved just wants to get past it...After he was caught and kicked in somewhat hilarious fashion, decided he's going to sell them anyway, rmt the profits, spam his ls forums with gay porn (someone has a fetish), jump server, and attempt to repeat the same fucked up cycle with another ls. He has shown an interest in moving to shiva or odin with his partner in crime, an elvaan w/ white hair and ridill, but no ebody/ares. My advice, if you see them pop on your server, stay the hell away from them.

While I dislike people who do that, you're partially at fault as well. Your LS gave him the item. It's his, so he has every right to sell it. Do I think it's right that he obtained the item and turned around to sell it? No. But if he rightfully earned the item by coming to events and whatnot, it's his and he can do what he wants with it. If you were hesitant to give it to him, then why not keep it for the LS bank? If there's no LS bank, you can always sell it and split it between the people who were there.
