I have never seen a week simultaneously filled with so much win and fail from the same company. I honestly think that the editorial vendetta against Keith Giffen has been shifted to Peter David. (Two of the three founding members of Young Justice are dead within about a year of one another, strange coincidence.)

I like Bart a lot. A helluva lot, but I don't like him as The Flash. In fact, it's been sucking pretty much since he got the mantle, I'm happy that we have the main man back. Shame Bart could not be made to go back to being kid flash...

Bart needs to pull a Barry. Just like the author of Crisis on Infinite Earths left a loophole of Barry living in the future as an excuse to bring him back (for little bits) later on, we just need someone to travel to the future and bring us back Bart as Impulse.

What was the point of killing Sue Dibny, Blue Beetle, turning Max Lord evil then killing him, and driving Ralph Dibny insane then killing him? The editorial staff at DC (mainly Dan Didio) seems to have taken a heavy-handed approach to characters from writers/teams that they do not like.

The main problem with the Flash series with Bart as the Flash was that he was a total whiny wuss- which is completely out of character for him. They could have brought Wally back and had Bart go back to being called Kid Flash or (better yet) Impulse.

I'm still hoping that we all totally read the ending wrong and that those were tears of joy that he lived. >_>
