And as for cogs being slow as hell, if that was true then u must have missed the faffy that took like 2 min to kill back when /brd was insane hate. So give them credit cause they also they cant be that bad with having what 6 or 7 relics in the shell with 2-3 being worked on

Fairy has Fafnirs that take 30+ mins, Niddys that nearly take up the entire hour and KBs that meteor the crap out of every LS.

That's actually not so bad compared to Phoenix. If anyone other than us or Saviour claims faf, you'll be sitting for 40min+ waiting. Especially if it's Fury. If anyone other than us or Saviour claims Aspid, it's going to be at least 40 minutes. Especially if it's Fury. If anyone other than us or Oceans claims KB (never watched Saviour kill it), there's going to be enough meteors to make the dinosaurs extinct. Especially if it's Fury. If anyone other than Saviour kills Tiamat it wont be fast. My LS doesn't take long to kill Tiamat either, but we don't usually kill it as fast as Saviour. It will be especially long if it's Fury who claims. If anyone on the server other than us claims Cerberus, it's going to take a while. Especially if it's Fury. Basically, you have to hope Zaibatsu (us) or Saviour claims or else you're going to be waiting for a while... especially if it's Fury.

I kind of remember Oceans having a few 15-20 minute fafnirs..... Thundaga III Magic Bursts FTW? lol

But ya.... the only good thing about fury claiming tiamat is, you get to sit and watch a extremely funny fight, and that you get a nice tiamat under 10% for free (After a few hours)

Fury vs Tiamat is always a classic. Even though the outcome is always the same, seeing them struggle for 4-6 hours to get it to 15%, only to have some other LS get the win is always interesting.

Ignoring the fact that it's highly unlikely you ever killed it remotely that fast (i'll give you as low as 6 or 8 but I personally have seen neither so that's just being generous), that seemed to be the only time anyone but ryuliten or distortion were able to hold hate, and seeing as how it's not valid anymore you might wanna move out of the past. Nothing like watching aegis PLDs lose control of the mob to pathetic 400 damage gekkos or seeing that the only worthwhile BLU at a khim fight (out of 3, not counting gabzz who seems to be the only one with his head on straight) was the only one who was still on trial. There's a reason you SMN burn anything harder than an NQ king or turtle, try not to toot that horn of yours too hard.

Jesus 8.5 minutes... & yeah I know how TG is usually with mage #s in aery sadly. ED was usually the other way around with more mages then melee in the pit iirc. Cog was usually a mix of both at times. Eden usually fields a full killforce on the days when niddy is gonna pop.

I wish I could have seen that fight.

My old LS on Siren killed Fafnir in 9min (or lower can't remember, was too long ago). Not sure how it came around but a bunch of us wanted to go WAR instead of our usual jobs and it happened the tank PT was whm, 4 wars, and a brd. Really easy and really fun fight. TP moves weren't as bad as ppl think. That fight with the 3 SAMs looks a bit more interesting to see though. I mean once you see 4 wars tanking a mob you've seen it all before.

haahahha so true Q_Q. I don't generally pick at people anymore, only people that have wronged me in the past, (HI2U FINALE and old 13). Actually I talk to mostly all of you in your respectful linkshells a lot. Don't really have beef with any of you and I like mostly all of you haha.

BQ Ring doesn't raise the cap on fire damage taken, nor does any resist- gear. It increases the chance that you won't resist the spell/attack. Breath damage is only correlated to Fafhogg's HP in any case (and of course how close to the center of the 'cone' you are.) - Jelly Ring would raise the cap on damage taken from breath.

Oh, and unless something really significant has happened in the past two weeks on Fairy, SD and HK are still fly-by-night shells in the endgame scene. Unless you're counting outlandish exclamations of HNM-decimating prowess originating from Valley of Sorrows.
