I don't think this qualifies as Rick Rolling, but it's definitely worth a look...
I knew that tune was familiar from somewhere.

You know, I probably wouldn't have thought of this, but as soon as I saw the link name I knew exactly what it'd be. Pretty cool.
omg, I didn't even think of that. the resemblance is uncanny.
what is it?
I mean, whats the robot from?
rickrolling now gets you banned
sonomaa agreed, don't bother him about it.
The robot is Robo from Chrono Trigger. Don't care if it is a rickroll, I got a good laugh out of it. Besides, it's not like the OP is trying to hide the Astley in the link.
Wow that was actually pretty funny.
Please don't flame, but I'm honestly not sure what a 'rickroll' is, and I want to make sure I do not do it. So what is it?
It's tricking someone into clicking a link that leads to a YouTube of a song by a gay guy.Originally Posted by Po

Rickroll comes from Duckroll, just incase everyone is wondering where the "roll" came from.
Anyway, so yeah, Carson Daily "rickrolled" his audience and then said "Ha! You just got rickrolled" and the word "Rickrolled" came up on the screen in that typical "stamp" font or whatever manner. I'm not making any of this up. You can probably find it on YouTube. They say memes can't die, but I think Carson Daily succeeded at it.
Question #2, what's a meme?Originally Posted by BRP

Also, when did 'rickrolling' become such an epidemic? I have never, in my life had the urge to post a link to one of rick astley's songs or photos. How and when did this become a fad? I really don't get it and until someone clears it up for me I'm just going continue to assume that it's really, really stupid.
