Assault rank up glitch?

One thing I think is important to remember is that you don't get credit for an assault until after you go back to the desk and talk to the guy that gives you tags (at least, I'm pretty sure that's true). So I'd bet a bunch of the issues stem from people running straight from an assault to rank up without grabbing another tag (or not bothering to talk to the guy when they know they don't have any tags). With that said, I'd be not at all surprised if the wiki list is wrong, I've seen some discrepancies with the list as posted as well.

Also, it should be noted that there are more than likely other errors with it, because one issue that I ran into was that if you started, but never bothered to finish the "lure of the wildcat" quests, you can't get the rank 5 (I think it's rank 5) quest. Believe me, I had the "naja will talk to you any day now" message for a few weeks but she just wouldn't give me the quest; instead she kept asking for the cards from the quests (of which I had 1/4). I went and finished them finally and without doing another assault, she finally gave me the rank 5 quest.

Though anymore the card quest is a given for people to have. Unless for some strange reason they dont want home nation -> toau teleportation.

Damn you, this is what I came to post. Yes, you don't get credit until you talk to the tag giver. Everyone always runs straight to Naja's to check.
