I'm a girl. Of course I cry!
Disney movies need to go to hell for all the crying I've done over them. Shawshank Redemption, Pay it Forward, Phenomenon, the list is too long.

I got a lump in my throat at the end of homeward bound.
edit: way to beat me to it help.
Me too on this one.Originally Posted by Andarvi
Rudy always gets me. And parts of Forest Gump.
If you didn't cry when Mufasa died.... you have no soul.
Gremilins, when they kill stripe
but seriously a few movies I have welled up but no full on water works.
I dunno what it is, but lately, for like the last 6-8 months I've been going to a movie almost ever week with my wife, and I find myself getting choked up or misty-eyed at the strangest fucking things, like at one point in Knocked Up, or 1408, even.... but especially in The Namesake. Did anyone else see that movie? I thought it was fucking amazing.
The only movie that ever made me poor out, if i recall corectly, was Powder.
Granted i was like 7 years younger?
i have cried once recently, haven't done it in a long time (years and years): watched cowboy bebop again and it was during the episode 'speak like a child'. When young faye on the video tells adult faye to do her best and does the cheer for her from the bottom of her heart, it gets me. It's probably because i'm so cynical and jaded, and in my youth i was so optomistic and hopeful.
Gf was crying so I had to go with the flow (hah!). I think I choked a bit was when OldBoy learns the whole truth. ._.;Originally Posted by Vannis

and I'm a girl. My husband cries all the time though lol.
Not really the crying type...maybe a tear.
Gets me every time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vR2wOHwJ-Jo
I tear up time to time watching a good anime, never straight cry though. Last time was when Kanon 2006 came out, so many memories came flooding back from the orignal series, manga and visual novel/game within the first 5 seconds the intro starting playing. <3 that series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AqRXnK5kHA
lol yes in response to original question.
First movie I ever cried in was Milo and Otis.. it still chokes me up to this day.
lol
I don't full-on bawl my eyes out but there are certain scenes where I will get like 2-3 tears. Usually it's in those scenes where it's sad and then they bring you back up with the happy ending and it's like a gasp and then a happy tear. Haha, like the end of Garden State where he goes to get her in the airport. sighhhh..
And the end of Ghost always gets me. Fucking christ.
Oh man, when it comes to some things, I'm a bawler. I sobbed through most of the series finale of Six Feet Under, and really through most of the final episodes, (spoiler in small letters) especially during Nate's funeral. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind always gets me when the last/first memory Joel has of Clementine at the beach party is being erased. The end of Donnie Darko makes me a little misty. I cried at the end of Brokeback Mountain. Sometimes if it's just been one of those days/weeks, I can really get a good cry going, especially if I'm by myself. I mean snot and everything, the whole nine yards. I always feel much better afterwards.
Where to begin...I won't post specific scenes to avoid spoilers, but some movies I can think of:
Ending cutscenes for FF games, esp. FF8 and 10
Million Dollar Baby
Four Brothers
V For Vendetta
Forrest Gump
Pan's Labyrinth
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Donnie Darko
House of Flying Daggers
Hero
The episode of Band of Brothers when they find the concentration camp

And, am i the only guy who cried during the notebook? Im comfortable with myself if i am, but i can see some guys who are in love cry over it. Its my favorite LEGIT chick flick.
You're not alone. One of my best friends is a guy, and he cries at that movie. He got a little choked up telling me about it.Originally Posted by Andarvi
I normally don't cry in movies, but the one scene that gets to me everytime without fail is in the original transofmers movie when Optimus Prime died.... laugh if you will but just remembering how much sadness went through me at that time gets to me![]()
