If you go out the way he did, you pretty much doom yourself to being remembered in a negative light.
You can say that we shouldn't condemn a man based on one act of insanity all you want, but the majority of the public is going to. Honestly, I agree with you on that point Perm, but just as Benoit wasn't perfect, either are we and most of us are going to judge him based on the events of the last two days.
Yours and Mysterio's posts summed it up beautifully. I couldn't agree more.

no more debate.
There is an enormous gap between not being perfect ie. being human, making mistakes like telling lies, being greedy, hurting others for our own benefit (on an emotional level), and doing what this guy did. Even if we stopped the discussion at the point where he was just a wife beater, I still place him beyond the realm of "nobody is perfect."
Killing your wife and child, in a way that is not impulsive like running to the closet, grabbing a gun and doing it in a matter of a minute, is so so so far beyond nobody is perfect. Think about it: they are saying he strangles his wife to death on saturday, waits A DAY, with the body still in the house, to SMOTHER his 7 year old.
I may be repeating what everyone else is saying, cause that seems to be whats been happening in this thread, but hes is fully resonsible because:
1- If it was all the result of steroids, then he chose to take them fully knowing their side affects, and deserves no sympathy.
2-It was a combination of roids enhancing an already innate mental problem he had, which he would have clearly known he had (hi2u domestic abuse) and still took them regardless.
For me there was just too much spacing out between the acts, clearly showing he was not right in the head not just at the time, but in general. People base a lot of their assumptions about his character on his wrestling career...which is like saying Britney Spears in wholesome because her character was in Crossroads (never saw the movie, assume she was, you get the point.)
