ive tried explaining this to wars i merit with but they never listen so i make sure to cancel warcry before boosting because if you boost right before warcry would of worn off you get a message saying boost wore off.Originally Posted by Judai

This is an Epic LOLpost.
Simple solution: Use Warcry and Aggressor at the same time, merit only Berserk and Double Attack from old merits. Iono I've always used Agg and Warcry at the same time, so I wouldnt have noticed a loss in acc ever. Its a great way to keep your WS consistent if you wait 2 min or so to stagger Bersk and have either Aggressor or Bersk on at all times. For WAR I think its safe to say with all the haste gear available you gotta use sushi.
on topic of MNK, who the FUCK uses Warcry on MNK?! ever?
MNKs who want to tank and pray for a Guard skill up!
the problem isnt monks using warcry is other people in the party using warcry.
Whenever I Rampage with offhand Ridill during Warcry I have Double Attack on WS. That's a proof that Warcry enhances Double Attack on WS while weilding Ridill!!
FFS, I'm tossing this topic to my favourites/the most derailed and retarded topic bookmark -_- Even Allakhazam topics make more sense...

Well duh, that's why DRKs should never wear Sniper's Rings. Death Ring ftw, it gives MP AND Dark MAcc. What more could you want!?Originally Posted by Obev

I really think the link guy thinks atk has something to do with chi blast
I've used Warcry as MNK/WAR immediately following my WS, if we're making a skillchain, and someone else (non-MNK, non-WAR, non-/WAR) was closing, but that was really only from 70-72 in Bibiki Bay.![]()
"Provoke raises enmity and lowers -enmity." is my new favorite quote in the whole wide world.
Warcry lowers sight? Now we know why Takedown meritied (I typo'd that and now I'm keeping it) it!I'm guessing they either mean it lowers the amount of enmity that slowly diminishes or lowers the amount of enmity lost when you do...-enmity stuff. I know shit about Provoke so I'unno.Originally Posted by Huggo
P.S. You pronounce merity like you would parry.
"Provoke increases enmity and decreases - enmity"
This guy just made my day and there will still be some win left over for tomorrow.
Wonder what their opinion on tungi is.
Probably that it raises your chance to double attack, but it simultaneously lowers your chance to single attack.Originally Posted by SassiAsura

man the only reason I /war is for Warcry.

Just wanted to point out, you forgot, if you miss, you will get a chance to DA on Asuran, but you are right that it would not go beyond 8 hits..but it still Can.Originally Posted by Takiwaki

The only method I can think of, is to gimp your gear down to no +ACC, fight something with high evasion/low defense a few hundred times, and use Asuran Fists with and without Brutal Earring a few hundred times each. Compare results.
Even then, it'd be kind of a shitty test. If you miss a double attacked swing in a WS, how do you know you swung at all?
Edit: I think a better test would be to find a Kraken/Ridill WAR. If they miss a swing or two with Kraken (on an 8 swing proc), can the Ridill still attack 2-3 times? I'm betting no.
