The gil from the gigas as you farm pop items is pretty nice. 200 solo, and they drop buckets of giga socks. If you can desynth, or something on the spot, that could add up to good money even if the NMs don't drop the bracelets.. ever.

Does anyone know if that 6.4b is a running total? Or if it's an everytime thing? Because god damn is that a lot of gil to be yanking out repeatedly...although with the way the prices keep tanking it wouldn't surprise me...
Consider the number of bots and rmts though... I would think it is each time.
6.4 billion gil is only 1.1 mil per account banned. Which is a rather reasonable number for an account to have.
I wonder if they've gotten Siren's Sea RMT yet....![]()
Lmao so they first allow world transfer then do the banning right after. Way to maximize profits eh
1.1mil per character is a lot more reasonable/believable then the last banhammer (Was at 19mil/char)
- Usage of tools that circumvent game mechanics with respect to the timing of ability use, etc. in certain areas or at points where Notorious Monsters appear.
May 24, Approx. 10 cases
May 31, Approx. 10 cases
June 8, Approx. 10 cases
June 15, Approx. 10 cases
June 26, Approx. 110 cases
Seems June 26th was D-Day.
Let hope gent and his buddies are gone. Hope the ban hammer finally hit this roach.
She's on Phoenix and she's already made it painfully obvious that it's her.Originally Posted by Khajit

after the <t> patch they probably had a new detection system going, so people got their bots "fixed" but in reality they were still working but detectableOriginally Posted by Dimitri Maximoff
I await bits and pieces of info from Alla threads where people cry about being banned for only using Windower.
Yea i do think so that SE's new Inspector Gadget Tool actually detects players using a third party software running in conjunction with FFXI. Just the past few times they banned accounts related to 3rd party tools which circumvented with the game mechanics, it was just like 10 cases on May 24th, 31st, June 8th, 15th, and suddenly a massive bomb on 26th. I do think during our updates, we aren't completely told what is downloaded, they just put forth the normal stuff on this and that updates but, possibly, they may have even included a 3rd party kinda tracking file into the update, i don't know if encrypted is the correct word to use, i'm just guessing bluntly. Don't take it for real lol.Sonomaa wrote:

Gogo STFU!
but ya, farming beastmen is actually somewhat worthwhile as it is right now. im farming BEadeaux again for Reraise mauls and Helms again lol
I am actually curious about this; our RMTs at NQ Behemoth would every so often /say "Behemoth" (without the quotes, obviously), between windows, sometimes alone, sometimes with other characters (like ] or ^ etc)... so I know it had something to do with feeding the name to whatever program. Was that what was somehow disabled, or now detectable as suspected, with the <t> fix? Same with a Stun bot type program I saw at Cerberus; every time a Gates went off, you'd automatically see one person say "Cerberus" in /say (eventually assume he changed his default chat to /party after getting quite a few amused people around), even if he was mid-cast in something else like Stoneskin or Refreshes.
Guess I just don't quite understand how that would work; it's not like FFXI is like WoW where you can type "/tar beh" and have your cursor land on Behemoth, but something would have modded it that way perhaps? And the <t> now gets in the way or something?
I guess there's not a real reason for being curious about it, it's not like there'd be any way to somehow manage to beat it by using /targetnpc // /ma Stun <t> outside of luck, I suppose.
I was excited to see prices finally starting to creep up. ;pOriginally Posted by HAcoreRD

The above link is where the original post is.
The 360k/day Eny could make doing a round of tier1 avatar runs with all his clones is looking more and more practical.
These bannings are like a fun side game in ffxi. It's an event that happens every month and fun to see who got banned and who didn't, like a lotto you don't want to win.
I still say they need to make a list by server of which accounts/characters got banned.
Would definitely be more entertaining than sitting in DA for 3 hours.
