<3 F-Zero X and GX. X was the first racing game in a while that actually felt incredibly fast in 3D. Not to mention it had awesome tracks, like the half pipe of death
Any mention of sports games like baseball stars, or baseball simulator 2000, or ken griffey jr (64) coming out, i haven't seen them on lists i don't think, as far as sports go those and the late 90's maddens for sega were the best.
Can we talk about XBLA and PSN games here, too, or do they need their own threads?
I got Prince of Persia Classic when that came out a couple of weeks ago, and it's awesome. I've gotten all the achievements except Survival, which is fucking insane and takes the ability to go through all 14 levels on one life and in one hour. It's funny, but I like this PoP much better than Sands of Time, lol.
And does anyone play Aegis Wing? It's that free shmup that came out a while ago.
Aegis Wing is ok, but it doesn't feel polished. Its also really easy, even on "Insane" or whatever
I love Pac-Man CE, having a blast with that
It's been said, but this list needs more metroid.
First post updated.
Don't forget to tell us what you added. Here or bolded in the first post. Sure we could search by the dates you added, but you know most of us here are lazy!Originally Posted by Po

They're missing the old Final Fantasy games! And a few other good old RPGs and such.
Square would much rather re-release the old final fantasy games every few years for $30-50 each than go for cheaper but wider distribution through VC 8)
Sad but true![]()
They'd make more money if they did both, release it on VC and in other forms. not everyone will own a Wii who would want to buy newer versions of those games, some people would probably buy both, for the sake of completeness.
I think they'd be stupid not to release them.
I'd think eventually, nintendo will be able to put enough pressure on SE to let FF games be available on VC. if SE was not able to make games for nintendo anymore, thats 1/3 of their potential business taken away from, granted it would be a huge blow to nintendo as well, but there are more game publishers out there than there are hardware makers. what it all comes down to is i wanna play FFIII again, and not deal with stupid loading times, like i do on the PS rerelease.
Get it on DS![]()
They probably won't be, just because the GBA ports are doing so well (and they're probably remaking FF5 and FF6 on the DS after they're done with FF4..)
BTW, has anyone played the PSP version of FF1? the graphics are pretty awesome.
Do you still have to manually target each opponent or will it automatically switch if one is beaten. That game has left a bad taste in my mouth for the word "ineffective" ever since i first played it.Originally Posted by Exoduso
Do you live in Japan? I highly doubt they would release an NES game not released in the US on the VC in the US. Maybe if you live in Japan there is an outside chance, but I highly doubt it seeing as how the remake came out for DS.Originally Posted by Oxyminus

And the graphics boost it received is pretty impressive (especially the characters on-screen.)
That's almost worth buying a psp for, i just beat it at work on nesticle though so i'm not itching to play it atm. Sorry for non-VC talk.Originally Posted by Exoduso
