skill was beating it at a low level! The time i just beat it was everyone at lvl 24 with fighter, fighter, ninja, white wizard.Originally Posted by aurik
Kinda an easy setup though i suppose, but fun none-the-less!
I played that game to death on the NES, I got to the final boss at lvl16 in one of my playthroughs...
I think one of my best accomplishments (at least that i remember) is beating marsh cave at level 4 and astos at level 5. Normally when I play i'm at least level 7 or 8 by then.Originally Posted by aurik
A few games for the NES I would love to play again:
Metal Gear
Rush'n Attack (aka Russian Attack)
Double Dragon
Top Gun
T & C Surf Designs
Duck Tales
Faxanadu
Goonies II
Kid Icarus
R.C Pro-Am Racing
Pro Wrestling (fucking Star Man!!!)
Golgo 13
Blaster Master
Edit: Almost forgot about Rygar, damn that game was sweet.
There's a ton more, but this is what I can remember off the top of my head and the games I played during my childhood.
Paper Mario 64 released today in the US :D
I've been wanting to play Paper Mario for a while
Woot for VC
Updated.
Sorry guys, I had been out of town.

Playing it RIGHT NOW and I'm quite content.Originally Posted by izembo

I never owned a SegaOriginally Posted by izembo
Played it for like an hourish at a friend's house on Sega channel (I remember I just got Jaha or w/e his name was), then never again. Was too young to get a job for it, and by the time I was...well, I don't like the price of a decent copy these days. I got to play the portable SF by borrowing my cousin's Game Gear, and Shining Force 1 finally when they put it on GBA, but...
I never actually played shining force 2, but i love the first one. Very glad to hear they released this game![]()
They need to shed some light on the progress of GoldenEye ~_~; Im about to hook up my 64..
I'd bet that Goldeneye will never make it to VC. The licensing issues are way too complicated.
The amount of money that would be needed to make it happen kinda makes it worthless from a business standpoint I imagine.Originally Posted by aurik

Final Fantasy games on the VC would only happen if Square decided to do it, I highly doubt Nintendo would apply too much pressure. These guys just ended a very long, critical feud that arguably cost them (Nintendo) 2 generations of gaming dominance (Square choosing the PS over the N64.), so I can't imagine them doing anything to jeopardize the relationship now.
They might want to make it work just cause people want it. They honestly can afford to spare a bit of money and this is the kind of thing that would just be coolOriginally Posted by Xavier
Agreed, and also agree w/ what Xav said about the amount to make it happen wouldn't out weigh the cost.Originally Posted by aurik
With that said, it would probably be easier to see it show up on Live Arcade, god could you imagine that death match on live...

Look at Banjo and Perfect Dark, two of the best N64 there were.
A new Banjo is coming for 360, and PD was a launch title.
I would say if Nintendo realized Rare would never let them have it back, since it would be better on XBLA than VC, then Nintendo may let it go.
