It's also not quite right.

Tiamat stays on the ground for two minutes; then flies and stays in the air until 1) the time she casts Firaga after two minutes has passed, or 2) you do 10k damage to her while in the air.

Once the window is open, it never closes so it can pop anytime once it's open.

I've heard otherwise. My suspicion is that it isn't anytime, but every 30 mins or 2hrs or 16 hrs or something along those lines.

Wyrms'/TAU HNMs' windows are every hour after the first window. When these windows first open for each HNM, I don't remember. =/
