Maybe it'd be rated R if mother fuckers like you actually went to the theater and paid money to see the movie instead of pirating them online.

Is it any fucking wonder they have to aim for lower ratings to allow more people to see it in theaters...

Um. The only reason I downloaded it was because it WASN'T rated R. So that doesn't actually make much sense.

And I tend to go to the theatre all the time to support good movies. And.... some shitty ones too. No way would I contribute money to this film though. A good box office turn out will only add to there opinion that a PG-13 Die Hard is going to bring in the bucks and the concept of an R-rated film will drop off the face of the map.

Edit: I dunno if it carries over into the big screen or not, but was it noticeable where they would edit out some of the more proficent cursing? Seemed that way on my Tv.

Saw it last night, good movie overall. Except that one scene towards the end that was wayyy OTT shoulda been cut out. Other than that, not disappointed :D

Umm... I read this thread then saw the movie thinking it was going to be awesome. All I kept thinking throughout the entire movie was "Oh come the fuck on."

I mean, I don't know about anyone else but the reason Die Hard 1 is one of my favorite movies of all time is that he was just a normal guy having to do extraordinary shit. This movie made him an extraordinary guy doing retardedly unbelievable shit. ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH THE FIGHTER JET? SERIOUSLY.

Nothing will ever beat him picking glass out of his foot on the bathroom sink then only finding shoes that are too small on the people he kills. Or "Now I have a machine gun. Ho ho ho."

Whatever. Like everyone else has said before, Transformers tonight. Can't wait.

I just loved all of Bruce's lines in this movie. That and Mac's (dont know his name but the guy that plays the Mac on the commercials.) This movie was very well written. Transformers better deliver now after seeing this because this movie right now is the best thing out.
