good:
autobots have a battle mode face plate change
personalities were dead on...optimus refuses to harm the humans, willing to sacrifice bumblebee to save the earth(saying bumblebee would have done the same and wanted it that way)
optimus says "freedom is the right of all sentient beings" and "one shall stand, one shall fall"
megatron is wicked sick. not a gun...but he abuses his transformation to the max. him and prime through the building in slow mo...holy fucking shit. Hugo Weaving is spot on for his voice.
starscream is crazy too...the scene where he fights with the jets alternating between jet mode and robot mode...whoa.
part 2 to follow...optimus transmitted a message to any autobot out in the universe to join them in earth. starscream's the sole survivor of the decepticons and is seen escaping into space.
megatron depicted as brutal as hell, overpowering prime very easily. flicking away a human with "disgusting" after falling from a building...hahaha!
I WANT A CELL PHONE THAT CAN TRANSFORM AND GO BERSERK FIRING ROUNDS
lots of humor in this...i literally laughed till my sides ached.
Megan Fox is hot as fuck hell.
Bumblebee changing from old camaro to new camaro is fkn cool.
all the autobots have very human traits.
bumblebee has a wicked sense of humor with the radio.

bad:
not enough air time for decepticons...they were cool as fuck hell. especially the part when frenzy discovered megatron's location and all the decepticons rallied towards him. blackout got more air time than starscream
bonecrusher died like 5 mins after he transformed. you know the clip where he was blading and tackled prime? prime smashed his face(literally) a few seconds after they both fell off the bridge
jazz died 5 mins after he engaged
plot loophole... the world knew when the autobots came. world didn't know when blackout, barricade, bumblebee and scorponok arrived.
plot loophole 2...what? all spark sent to city? what the fuck for?
a lot of redundant characters. hackers could be done away and no one would even care.
not enough starscream rebellious nature... all the interaction megatron had with starscream was "you have failed me once again"
frenzy is fucking annoying. funny...but annoying. his "oh shit" when he died made me laugh though.

Im a huge Transformers fan

Since I came to America in 1986 I have been hooked on to all the shows, remakes, movies/specials

I think it looks fantastic from the trailers

I wanted the movie to blow away Spider-Man 3 record of $151,000,000 but I dont think that will happen

Only great thing going for it is that its an original, doesnt suffer from sequelitis, + reviews are all positive and not mixed

This movie is just about Robots kicking ass, action scenes that will be mind blowing, and more explosions

I think the reason they pushed the release date here in the US is due to the July 4th falling on a Wenesday
so that gives more of a pick up of kids being out of school, vacation, people off from work (most big movies have been released on the July 4th time, Jurrasic Park I,II,III, Independence Day, Godzilla (?), Men in Black I/II, Wild Wild West (flop but still made money)

Now that theres so much buzz Transformers may open on Monday is kind of nuts, So Monday 4/2 8pm, 10pm, 12am shows, + all of Tuesday, then Wednesday > then the fn weekend.... Jesus

I just want too see the dropoff of the release Box Office of a film to its second week

Movie that will be great will only lose around 20-30% after inital release week to the second week, but if the drop off is around the 40-50%+ this movie is going to be a mid-bust, it will make its money back and then some, but not up to the caliber that is Spider-Man and hopefully the Transformer franchise becomes a great commodity

I think word of mouth on all the people who have already watched it and the buzz will make this movie be a Juggernaut

Transformers have 9 days to reap in as much $$$$ as it can, cause a certain Boy Wizard is appearing on 7/11 (lol Pun), also if Transformers can stay afloat even after Potter, Simpsons will be coming out at the end of the month

only reason I, or anyone else should want to see it. not going to look for good character development, plot progression, or anything. just awesome visuals and robots beating the crap out of each other. gonna prolly wait a week or so, so the theatres aren't as crowded, burn one up before going in, and enjoy. more or less the same plan for harry potter. thank god summer school is almost done. only good way to see a movie in NYC without everyone and anyone being there is going to the last showing (like 10:30 or 11:00 PM start) in the middle of the week. theatres are usually empty and you can just WATCH THE MOVIE!
