Server Endgames

lol, is any server a good place to start with a nice community and decent endgame? I keep hearing conflicting points about every good server.

I think the only reasons people move to Asura are:

1) They check FFXIAH, see that the economy is less inflated and think it'll be a better economic environment. Notrly.

2) The endgame scene is heavily NA (and also heavily overpopulated).

Asura isn't a shithole, but I wouldn't put it that far up the list of "nice" servers to move to.

If you're looking for tight-knit community and lovey-dovey good times, I'd look elsewhere, there's so much NA endgame activity that sky and kings are relatively crowded most NA times, and Dynamis is a fucking nightmare. There are plenty of shells, no doubt, but most are horrid and despite the really nifty scheduling system everyone's been using, newer shells are becoming more and more prone to jacking zones, so it's just a giant mess.

Hmm, I'm still unsure. This is tougher than I thought lol. When I played first time I had a friend on a server, now I don't know anyone.

Just make an account on that server, scam up a few million, buy the ores and jump to carby.

I <3 being the only good NA LS on the server, go to Asura To be quite honest, Unless you got into our LS (recruitment closed and nigh impossible for a server jumper to get into our LS), you'd probaby just camp kings day in and day out. Camping kings is something our LS does not do.

Its been a long time since I participated in Asura end game, so I truly couldnt tell you how it is. But there used to be 150+ camping on a typical day in Aery iirc. Not sure how it is now, but to me, it felt like I was stuck in an elevator with many fat sweaty people for hours.

manifestos alone has 150 in DA

I also am curious. For merits, would it be better to get Whm or Rdm to 75? Rdm has more items to merit that I need but seeking for a dozen hours won't be possible this time around due to work/school. I'll -make- time for endgame but seeking.. ugh
