Yeah, just tell yourself that you should just die when you're 65 and get cancer and need operations and months of chemo, then pills for the rest of your life even if you make a strong recovery. Too expensive to be worth another 20 years of life. You'll be pretty hard up/lucky to find private insurance that will cover all that. A career to save up as much money as you can in hopes your funds don't fizzle out before you do doesn't sound that enticing when you think about it.

All this doomwrought speculation is about as valuable as worrying whether or not the next stranger you meet is about to murder you. Either you planned properly or you didn't. Either your health insurance is going to cover your metastatic small-cell lung cancer treatments or it isn't.

What we can control in the here and now are risk factors. If you're dying AND BROKE at 65 chances are good you could have taken steps at 30 to keep that worst-case scenario from happening. I know, not every dying/broke 65 year-old is a poor planner but again, shit happens.

Imagine if they made a machine that actually brought people back from the dead. Now imagine people wanting the state to pay for their own resurrections. There's only so far down the line you can beg for the public to keep you from slipping off this mortal coil. It's just a matter of where you want that line to end so the rest of the living can actually enjoy things like properly paved roads, clean drinking water and enforcement of the laws of the land. Money isn't unlimited.

Most humans make babies around the age of 25-40. Not many get sick before 50 years old. Can you explain what natural selection has to do with that when most of them already spread their genes. As for retarded people and major disease, they rarely have a chance to build a family...hell, lot of them are sterile. Letting them die change nothing to the natural selection. Letting sick kid under 10 dies would be the best way to help natural selection


And the whole economy thing is just bogus in the end. Yes, it cost money to keep people healthy, but where do you think that money go?

Cause share holders only want to hear about profit, money is blind to all emotions, money = money
So because of that ethics, have been twisted/broken to gain net value
Health should never be based on stock value

Alot of what I read I kept seeing that keep yourself maintained, dont do the wrong stuff and most of the time you wont need the HMO help (Healthcare wise), the "Shit Happens" effect is always there to fuck it up for someone always

Until we as Americans figure it out what it means to be an American, and remove all this red tape BS, Healthcare and other socialized areas will become Private soon enough
(Schools are already getting privatized, police/firefighters are getting privatized with marketing ploys from companies, as in all Police will use Motorola walkie-talkies cause Motorola paid for the rights to a city)
