Sorry, in a 6 hour period we killed Cerberus and Tiamat with full drops, and nidhogg and KB. What exactly do you have to show for that time besides -exp from the tiamat you gave us.

I still love all those times on Siren when RD, PB, VD and anyone else didn't have any balls to come to any camps until each of them got their hands on 'something' that allowed them to claim. I don't even know if my old LS is even still around. One of the things that was great about it though was the strict "no talking in 'say' at camps" policy. If you instigated in 'say' you had to send a /tell to every last person there apologizing. It really kept things as civil as possible during some controversial camps.


From time to time I really miss FFXI. I think to myself in the months I've been gone about all the cool and fun stuff that my old friends are doing. Novios falling like rain with the increased virtue drop rate, all the goodies from salvage which come with really nice stats in a fun battlefield, the mystery of the N. Isle weapons, the ever changing eilskdhgk;ljh;kljhs battlefields with new abjs, new assault ranks, that 3rd level astau talif I never got around to doing, etc etc etc. Then I read something like this and realize its still about 220 people staring at the same 5 mobs all day every day. The only challenge being having a system that can withstand the lag. The only fun being the misery of someone else.


Then I take my $12.95, download a Stevie Ray Vaughn or Andy Timmons album onto my Ipod and go listen to it while enjoying an overpriced cup of Starbucks coffee. It's quite tasty and relaxing.

By giving it to you, you mean you screwed us over to get it for yourselves, cause that's how it happened. It might have been different if you had claimed it if we wiped, but no, moment it went unclaimed you guys bio'ed it and prevented us from sleeping it, thus an mpk. As for Cerb, big deal, you guys cockblock and mpk others at Cerb so much that Algol is probably free lot by now. I imagine Angelsin is right, which is why VD was out of the picture for so long, what with Jaydn getting suspended and all, lacked your best botters. You guys may see yourselves as badass, but a lot of others (and this isn't just from PD) see it as desperate, that you have to try and mpk or otherwise force any other hnmls to wipe to get what you want. Way to talk, you have just as many people, if not moreso, and taking a headcount, you've got a ton of pld as well. You mpk'ed us because we were going to sleep it, but VD's well timed bio II screwed that chance up real quick. Funny though, when you guys mpk and steal a mob from us it's ok in your books, but when we legitimately claim from you it's a steal. That one Cerb that we got the other day, where both your pld were gone (Onigami was dead and Jugg d/c'ed), it went yellow as it was slaughtering your linkshell, so we claimed it and killed it, then Bungie started spamming haste to try and lag us after he started shouting steal and that we should give it back (when we all know that your linkshell wouldn't do the same if the roles were reversed). Also, VD's performance at Cerb the other night was hilarious, wiped twice from what I saw, then tried lagging QC by pulling and fighting Trolls right on top of their mages. Then you call us botters and shit when we legitimately outclaimed you at Khimaira, then half a dozen or so of your ls just end up using lame /seacom messages for the rest of the day (every one of them distorting the truth so much it's sad). So I see it like this, your linkshell will bot, steal, and mpk just about any hnm they can, then try to make it look as if you guys are saints.

I end it with this comment, nice King Arthro the other day, you guys can't even take your own advice to move away from a CFH mob so it can go yellow.

But back to the good stuff. So Haper, is this VD's official stance? Fight an HNM for too long with a lot of ppl (under VD's HNM police rules) and VD will 'not' MPK you by DoTing the HNM the second it goes yellow so hopefully it'll kill that LS naturally and without any MPKing of any kind? Because DoTing an HNM when a LS is trying to recover is not MPKing right? What about claiming? Yellow = anything goes now on Siren? Can't wait for the pics.

Are you implying that PD couldn't have killed Cerberus the other night? Window opens after 24hrs. After over 30 kills of Cerberus I can easily say that it can pop one night, not pop the next day, and pop the next morning. Hmmm, last thing that even came close to us mpking anyone was the nidhogg you guys got awhile back, and the only reason we tried was because you guys mpk'ed us at Cerberus earlier that week (pulling a Wamoura on top of our pld and cfh as well as fighting trolls on top of us, don't tell me that wasn't an mpk attempt). Then later in the week we had Tiamat, and Desertigloo repeatedly pulled mobs on top of our pld and cfh on them, and it was only through GM intervention that he quit (was jailed actually, but same effect). There were other offenses between then and this past week, but most were too minor to really be considered anything really bothersome. However, what's with you guys trying to mpk QC the other night? Pulling multiple trolls on top of their mages and fighting right there to lag them out, hardly sounds like anything short of an mpk attempt. Was it cause you wiped and couldn't handle the fact that you wiped? Or was it because another ls got afterwards, cause that's what 90% of your actions regarding hnm seems like.

The Cerberus I'm talking about isn't the one from this morning, but the one from a couple days back that VD wiped to twice and QC wiped to once before coming back and killing it, the one a couple days before our first Khimaira. Didn't even have it down low enough for GoH and you wiped the first time. Then Bungie jumped the gun and claimed again after QC's wipe before you guys were ready and wiped you again. THAT's the one I'm talking about.

The algol, wasn't bought with ls funds, was his own money. That angle has been pointed at for as long as he's had one, and it's just as wrong now as it was then. Gotta bring up Bungie though, was the only reason he wasn't booted out of VD for killing Sea Gods with rmt because he's such a good botter? Cause we boot people from PD that engage in that sort of thing, begs to question your standards to have someone actively helping RMT in your ls.

Only reasons we bring as many people as we do to hnm camps is 1) So that we can maybe outclaim you with all the bots you bring (which is most prevalent in DA and BD), 2) To handle any links and more importantly mob pulls you guys throw at us (such as DI's actions at Tiamat the other day), and 3) Why would we say we can't let the others in the ls show up to something? Even though we have more than enough people to kill everything we camp just in our one alliance, no reason that others shouldn't be allowed to come (this and #1 fit hand-in-hand)

The other day when we tried getting you guys at Nidhogg, half of PB agreed that you guys deserved to be Mpk'ed and that they'd have started if we hadn't started first, now tell me, what does that say about their attitude towards you? They've spoken several times about being disgusted by VD's methods almost constantly.

We've tried getting along with you guys, however it's obvious that VD in general has no desire to at least accept us. We've never been the aggressors towards any conflict between PD and VD, it's always been your actions, our retaliations. We're not the skillless botters you immediately assume we are, because your actions have never proven your own position to be any different (Troy's 5+ fafnir claims in a row, bungie's claims, your inability to realize that a mob has to lose hate on everyone to lose CFH, failing to handle adamantoise with 4+ people, then we come in with 3 and beat it, tons of your people dying at KB today due to meteor, I could go on). Just cause we bring a lot of people to camps doesn't mean we can't kill with few numbers, because we've proven otherwise [13 man nidhogg, 12 man tiamat (15 if you include add group), just to name a few]

In short, we've always played under the notion you don't bother us, we won't bother you, and regardless of what you've done to us in the past, we're still willing to entertain that option, since it's getting us nowhere.
