the anime is now off track from the manga. well the Raki/Easly story anyways. Claymore fight is still the same for the most part, a few minor changes, so no way to tell.

I haven't seen the anime episode yet, about to start it up after this post... also I didn't read the manga, but I got spoiled on the "Superb" chapter, so I checked it out.

We'll see if it lives up to my expectations or not...

I just finished it... it just didn't have the same effect as in the manga.

Oh well, it wasn't that bad to me.

As you can see by my post in this thread on the 22th, I was waiting for the scene... maybe the fact that I was expecting it to be like fuckin awesome is why it didn't feel as good to me. Probably doesn't seem too bad to someone who hasn't read that chapter in the manga.
