This is probably awesome for someone who hasn't read the manga. But the manga had so much more to the fight. Since I don't know how the next episodes will progress and how it'll pan out.

Spoilers:
Claire after awakening her legs uses even more power, making her left arm also awaken into a giant claw, she used it as traction to control her speed and used it as a weapon as well, eventually after cornering (or so) rigard her right arm awakened too. Then she slashed the fucking outta rigard much like she did in the anime (the pose is the same, sans all the cool awakened shit).

Not only that, but Claire looked fucking amazing. And if they fuck up the part with Jeane and replace it with Raki I'll be beyond angry.

I didn't mind the changes they did in ep 21/22, but this is sick. Even continuing where I think the plot is going I bet they could've kept in so much material from the manga. Only good thing about the episode was the animation...

Fuck, I was looking forward to this part way more than any other, since it is THAT good in the manga. Also, I bet they won't show #1 and 2.

I think it's going to be Raki instead of Jeane in the anime at this rate... but you never know.
They did show those other Claymores bringing Jeane back into the building with the rest of them.

Doesnt look *that* bad, but based on what you said it looks like a change that could have been avoided easily. Is it possible they are saving those part for the final episode in another fight (assuming there is more fighting to come in last 2 ep) >_>

You really have to read the manga to get the full effect. The whole thing was done so much better. SO much better.

That's what Claire looked like in that scene. (From the manga version of course).
There were a good few changes, mostly for the worse... storyline-wise it's nearly the same stuff, the fight just felt like it had a bit more urgency to it in the manga version.

Overall it could have been done better, but I still think it was good.

Has there been a manga release since Scene 73 with Miata that isn't backstory/extra/side story? I don't really care for that. Any progression? If not, when is it supposed to come out because I read scene 73 like almost 2 months ago.

I'm definitely starting the manga soon. I've heard the anime starts to become different from the manga around episode 20, so I feel like I'm missing out, especially after seeing some of the responses from the people that do read the manga.

Really? I tend to think that with most series. But in this case it's definitely true. It wouldn't be nearly as superior if they had just kept along the lines of the manga, ending it on a cliffhanger after the war or after the #1/2 showcase.

November is when chapter 74 is coming out. Extra Scene 3 came out recently (translation finished already). I like the Extra scenes, this one is awesome because it gives you more insight into Priscilla and Isley's relationship (which is one sided, but not in the side that you might think).

She might have, those extra "blades" she has go at that super fast rate also, probably won't be seen till the next episode when she's standing still and the blades arn't swinging at something. The manga didn't really show them earlither when she was slicing up the one guy.

The extra scene chapters are nice, especially chapter 3. I'd like to see a chapter done on Rigardo maybe explaining why he doesn't like being called by his old nickname, the Silver Eyed Lion King, but maybe that was hinted in chapter 3. I'd also like to see more on the battle between the abyssal ones, Luciela and Riful w/Dauf v. Isley and Priscilla. Dauf was missing from Riful side when she met with Clare after the seven year time skip.

wow, they are really pulling far off from the manga in the last remaining episodes. not that that's a totally bad thing, but it seems that the direction they are going is going to be closing off the anime from the ability to have another season after the finale which is kind of a downer.

taking bets that raki will save clare when she goes over her limit to win the battle by cutting her head off. any takers?
