wow, they are really pulling far off from the manga in the last remaining episodes. not that that's a totally bad thing, but it seems that the direction they are going is going to be closing off the anime from the ability to have another season after the finale which is kind of a downer.

I was hoping the Anime would stay true to the manga and just keep last episode open-ended with room for a potential second season but I guess they're going to wrap things up with their own ending.

Yea the Northern campaign ends bit after Clare kills Rigardo. The Claymores get overwhelmed by the the Awakened, leaving only 7 out of the 24 remaining.

while that certainly is a possibility, i dont see it happening like that. i think the Claymore series is too dark to have a happy ending like you are suggesting.

i would love for that to happen, i've been enjoying the anime too much for it to end now. maybe they'll leave it at a cliffhanger to allow the main manga story to push forward? i can hardly remember where the main storyline left off...

Has there been a manga release since Scene 73 with Miata that isn't backstory/extra/side story? I don't really care for that. Any progression? If not, when is it supposed to come out because I read scene 73 like almost 2 months ago.

November is when chapter 74 is coming out. Extra Scene 3 came out recently (translation finished already). I like the Extra scenes, this one is awesome because it gives you more insight into Priscilla and Isley's relationship (which is one sided, but not in the side that you might think).

She beat him in battle and he surrendered himself to her before basically being killed, though she seemingly lost her memory in the process or was simply unstable to begin with. Overall, the anime just depicted her as having an Ophelia-esque moment in just realizing she truly was an awakened being. Though, instead of just letting Clare (who she thinks is Teresa) finish her, she just wants to kill her.

Overall, I'm treating it as a sneak preview to the inevitable manga showdown. I'm also in the camp where I hope it's not over, so basically the fight will be a draw or a victory for Priscilla where Clare survives. A second season can then be filler episodes of the 7 year time jump the manga took after the Northlands incident, which'll let the manga itself get ahead of the anime again for some OVAs or even a third season.

Hmm, does Japan do a sort of Nielson ratings system? Curious to know how popular the show actually is over there. Granted it's no guarantee for continuation, but if it's a hit, I can see profit spawning future iterations of the world.

It wasn't domination, Isley was fucking her up, and she pulled some retarded bullshit crying for her mom and dad, and Isley let his guard down for a second and Priscilla kind of owned his arm. I really think Isley could've won, but he's using her for something else.

At this point I think that would be the only way for Clare to go one on one with Priscilla. I really hope they don't kill off Galatea but the 4th seems stronger than her.

And I hope I'm not the only one thats strangely aroused by the relationship between the 4th and Clarice.

I already know that, but he has had Priscilla since before that happened lol. He has her as a weapon against the others.

Yea I might be reading too much into the Clarice/Miata team up, I just wonder where the writer is going with these two characters. A death at the hands of Galatea or do they have something else awaiting them, I guess I'll just have to wait and see but November is a bit of a wait.
