normal manga is 15-20 per week, monthly should be 60 at a bare minimum.

You realize the difference in art quality between monthly and weekly manga? Doing more than 30ish pages a month is unlikely, if not impossible at that standard. For Claymore to have 60 pages a month, it would need to drop in quality a LOT.

It does feel kinda short for a monthly manga, but I still enjoy it greatly. This story definitely gets better and better.

Most monthly manga only manage 30 pages. It would take a fucking huge team to do more. It's not so bad, at least it gives them time to make the story good and keep the art looking nice.

I wish I could wait until the manga finished before reading it, but I bet that won't happen for a looooooong time.

Well, monthly manga shouldn't have any issues that are basically filler to give the writers time to think of ideas....since they have a whole month, and yeah, the quality is definitely worth waiting a month for.

Finally caught up on the last 2 chapters. Glad it ended up being Priscilla with Raki like I originally guessed since that will lead to so much drama when they finally meet up with Claire. I still can't help but feel there's so much going on still with this series that it's going to take like 5 years to wrap it all up (assuming it doesn't get canceled first). Fused Claymores, being test weapons for wars on other islands, Claire/Priscilla/Raki, Isley/Riiful, The Organization and the twins that can take out Awakeneds in one shot...etc

Chapter 83 is out, there are scanslations floating around the net, but they're done by amatuers. Overall, a good chapter and it's pretty much what you could expect. The last page is nice though.
