I haven't bothered with the new FMA, the ending of the first anime made me depressed, and then the movie came out and I was hoping for something happier to happen...fool me once > twice, etc etc

This manga look like it's wrapping up anytime soon? I watched the anime and loved it and I wanna read the manga but the month gaps would probably cause me to lose interest after awhile so I'd rather read it all in one go if it does finish.
