Not saying the spirit was Teresa, but rather Teresa was the one that killed the former #1/awakened being. Only fuzzy part is calling her a traitor, which may be roughly assumed since she killed her (we don't know the circumstances), but there's also the possible presence of Priscilla's mind where identifying Teresa as a traitor would fit.

I would think that Hysteria considered everyone that turned against her a traitor. Teresa weakened her and then just left her to die while Rosemary was the one to land the killing blow (who probably thought she was the shit). It's very messy and unclear right now, but hell, something to look forward to I guess?

I've been rereading the manga from the beginning and (after remembering how awesome this manga starts out) it's refreshing remembering a lot of the stuff I've forgotten. So I'm finally almost caught up after rereading the series and now it makes sense why Pricilla's image appeared and Hysteria's ramblings about Teresa. I had completely forgotten that it was Pricilla's left hand/arm (that she infused into Raki to save him from the daggers that should have taken control of him) that was used to resurrect the 3 former number 1's. So it's probable that as she was breaking down, it was Pricella's aura/yoki that took over Hysteria's mind. Meanwhile, Dae, who had no idea who the arm belonged to but knew it came from someone stronger than an Abyssal One, used the resurrected number 1s to find out, hoping the owner of the arm would come to them. So that's why he's excited at finally seeing the "strongest creation they ever brought forth".

So now, I'm guessing with Raki meeting up with everyone, they'll bring him to the Clare/Pricilla merged thing and that will somehow bring Clare's consciousness out and then they'll have a final fight, defeating Pricilla and maybe then finally, with the Organization gone, Clare having her revenge, Rubel satisfied that the threat of the "awakened claymores" won't impact the battle on the main land, and all the other loose ends wrapped up, they can finally finish the series.

<3 Riful. "Duff, you stink!" Was always curious how she and Duff got together. Now I'm also curious what made her turn into an Abyssal One...But hope they don't sacrifice the main story for it. Wouldn't mind if they released "history" chapters like this in the middle of the month while waiting for the regular monthly releases.

I wouldn't mind history chapters just because it feels more like the claymore I grew to love. Those few pages I've liked more than the last 5 or so chapters. Not to mention most of the characters they've killed off were absolute badasses.

So the origin of Yoma is revealed and the Organisation is put down. Although there are still a lot of loose ends to wrap up (well, actually only 1 I care about) it does feel like something is ending. Hopefully Nagi regroups for the Claire portion that's left, because it's a mess right now.

Was a good chapter as far as story progression is concerned. Definitely felt some closure on one part of the story. The two left alive seem like the real masterminds of the Organization so a lot can still happen up until the point where they decide to end the manga. Looks like there won't be anymore new Claymores but to be honest, there doesn't need to be.

Touching on the idea that the dragon people live very long natural lives and looking at the abyssal ones, I guess Claymores can also last a really long time while continuing to get stronger (which was proved by the 7 claymores that survived that suicide mission. Would be cool if they ended up becoming goddesses of the island at the end to make sure things that transpired don't happen again.

I'm looking forward to what happens with the Priscilla/Claire bit but I'm also afraid. Depending on what happens there will definitely set the stage for the ending arc.

They should pull a BERSERK/Evangelion and make this into a 3 part movie after they're done with it because the quality of the story and the artwork of this manga is so damn fascinating to me. I don't think they'll do another anime because I heard the first didn't do so hot. To be fair, I can totally understand why something like this would be hard to market in Japan.

So excited for the next few chapters.

Great chapter and "ending", everything is nicely wrapped up in explaining the Claymores, Youma, Awakened Beings, etc. However what you have to remember, is that while Dae work(ed) for the organization, he only cared about his experiments and creations while Rubel is actually an agent for the people the organization was trying to fight. He was sent here to spy on the organization, keep tabs on their research and was the one who originally told Miria of the war on the mainland in hopes she'd help destroy them. Dae and Rubel are on their way to the fused Priscilla/Clare "thing". So if/when they decide to continue the story it will be really interesting to see if Dae tries to revive Priscilla and if Rubel tries to stop him or not because if Priscilla is the strongest thing he ever created, it poses a direct threat to Rubel's side, assuming Dae can control Priscilla. Then again, he probably doesn't care about the war so he might not even try. Rubel might be more interested in letting Dae revive Clare/Priscilla so he can see the resolution to the Clare/Priscilla thing himself since he's stated he feels almost like Clare is a "child" to him considering how he helped create her and nurtured her before the war.

Yeah, there's a lot to explore and although I'd have rather Nagi wrap up the Claire stuff before putting a pin in it for now, I'm happy with the exposition we got after almost (or more than) a year or fighting.

It isn't over per se, no one is really sure what's happening. They certainly wrapped up a part of the story but there's still a lot left to cover (excluding any and all things to do with the mainland).

I don't think they're using the mainland stuff as anything but a plot device as to who/why/how the claymores and the organization exist. I'm guessing we'll never get to read/hear about the actual status of what's going on there. The entire series has been focused on the testing grounds the organization created, telling the story of the events of the testing grounds first through the eyes of Clare and then lately through the eyes of Miria. Miria's story, in my opinion is done now, she finished what she said she wanted to do back when she was first introduced back in like chapter 30 or so. Maybe that's all the "end" thing meant (or so I hope).

Maybe the overall story of the testing grounds is all Yagi wanted to accomplish, but I'll be damned disappointed if they don't finish up the Clare stuff, even if it's slowly through "special chapters". I mean, 80% of the manga revolved around Clare and her needing to kill Priscilla, and when they finally meet it's like, "let's put this story in stasis somehow so we can deal with other stuff." At least though, with Dae and Rubel heading out "somewhere", I want to believe that there will be a continuation of some kind, we just have to wait and see if they're going to release anymore monthly chapters or if we're going to get another "year long break" like we did after the war in the north.
