Call me slow, but I'm just remembering Welch from 2 and 3.. Though she didn't have quite the interaction in 3 I think, or I just didn't use IC as much. At least I think she was in 2... Maybe it was just 3. So don't remember that well. Wikis aren't helping much.

Does SO typically have anything like NMs or Rare Monsters to hunt or anything of the like? Or are the only long and/or difficult and/or strategy based fights usually revolved around bosses?

There really isn't any rares or anything like that like The Last Remnant, but after you beat the game, there is usually a difficult dungeon. And then there are two pretty tough bosses at the end.

35 hrs total and beat the game. Time to go backtracking and do all the optional stuff plus the post-game dungeon. :3

Just finished the cardianon fortress last night. That place has some distance in save points I was going to play killzone 2 for the rest of the night but I wanted out of that area. When do you get the big tit elf? Her magic stuff is apparently much better than lymle.

The male:female ratio in this game makes me sad

Just reached 5th planet, I need to grind some sp. Anyone know any good ambush spots near zone lines? I tried to go back to the citadel place but the stone things weren't activated ):

I'm still on Cardianon actually. Didn't play but for about two hours last night. Though I did run a 9SP, 4HP, 1XP (accident), last night and maxed all but the Combo and first aid abilities for my main 4. Tonight I'll finish it all off and max everything else and build a buffer for IC and future abilities then I'll probably start the story again tomorrow. I only have about 2-3 hours a night on weekends to play due to work - 12 hour shifts and getting up really early.

Edit: Oh yeah, I've been wanting to say... It's almost not worth installing this to your HDD. I only have a 20GB with about 10 free and the load times are amazingly quick all the same. Seems like 2-3 seconds to load in and out of fights. The only "lengthy" ones are major world changes, not zones, and those don't even take that long.

Wow edge just goes all out emo over the alternative earth blowing up. I really really wish I could have punched him. Reimei sideboob was great and really didn't expect them to do that. Also welch is just plain awesome now

well, to be perfectly fair would you be calm after blowing up your own planet? different dimension or not, he has a point that he still blew up his own home planet =/ I mean, maybe it's just me but I wouldn't exactly be happy if I blew up Earth either..lol

Personally, even if I were to get over the fact it wasn't the real earth, still being responsible for all that death would make me pretty emo too.

On a side note, I'm a little disappointed it wasn't the real earth. I hope they come back to this and explain what it really was. Just saying "it's another dimension" and treating it like it didn't matter feels like a cop-out to me right now.
