Oh she sucks? I just randomly found her after seeing the PA option for Lacour when youre not supposed to (ie town is evacuated). Wanted to try her out. >_<

Also alot of the new voices and names are terrible. Creepy and Weepy are retarded dragon names. Also changing dias's "10 seconds" to "Ill defeat the enemies in 10 seconds" makes it lose some of it's charm.

I'm actually playing the old Playstation version on an emulator right now. Just restarted, and saved Rena, so I'm not far in at all.

Also on a solo/monster run on Tactics (with the Hacktics patch). Gogo beating the mission to rescue Algus with only Ramza as the controllable character. (Delita and Algus.. both the dumbest AI I've ever seen. Ever.)

iirc, you could choose between characters like Pepitta, Nel, Albel and... Roger? I think, all the other characters were required, except that old guy. I can't remember his name, but he's a shitty mage anyway.

Characters don't fit really well with the background imo. They aren't bad, but their special feature make them stand out way too much. They just look like a bunch of weirdo cosplaying.


Beside this, the trailer was awesome. It give off the same sci-fi vibe I loved so much about Xenosaga and star ocean series. I cait wait to play this game.


And that big winged monsters near the end totally look like a ripoff of Deus/Omega-1.

Edit: And wow at 70k HP. It's been a LONG time since I played SO2 and I don't remember HP getting that high. Never finished 3.

Most characters in SO2 and SO3 were relatively normal compared to those though. The first two characters look fine, but the rest of the cast are pushing it a bit. Anyway, it won't matter once I play the game. I rarely get annoyed by characters, unless they are useless mascots or animal.


Having to choose between certain characters suck. I always end up picking female characters because.. well...boobies are cool. But when I reach the grinding part, I would like to try everyone to test their skills.
