Somehow, I'm not too entirely surprised. They were doing everything right too and then they give us this shit, should have seen it coming when they stated it wasn't an instanced dungeon <<;

It's not really any more luck based than for example Nyzul Isle, except a 1/6 chance of autofail(for Tier I).

The real problem is the drop rate on abjurations.

A decent amount of it isn't shitty at all. Maybe a bit harder to get than they should be, but some of the items themselves are pretty good.

Anyway, less groaning, more info. If we can't provide info yet, that doesn't mean we should spam up the thread... that defeats the purpose of making a separate thread for tier 2.

Very true. It is quite difficult to find people to do it. I suppose it will be adjusted next patch to something less chaotic.

one group can go in with 36 people, get max hounds and max skeletons with a marid boss
and inevitably wipe (if they even get to the marid with all the aoe paralyze and aoe drain going on)

vs

one group can go in with 15 people, get 6 hounds and wivre boss, and clear with 10 minutes to go.

or vice versa of course, group of 36 enters and gets 12 incredibly easy pussy mobs and an easy boss, now its all "Einherjar {Too Weak} wwwwwww".



Nyzul is somewhat luck based, but theres no excuse not to be able to clear 5 floors within 30 minutes, even if you get lamps x5.

So? It's not like it matters in the long run. You win some, you lose some. Big groups will win more than small groups. Skilled groups will win more than retarded groups. Marid is silly and broken, but excluding that I like the random element and the possibility to actually lose to something in FFXI.

After the bats, we got fucking slimes... Randomness of einherjar starting to get pretty lame. These slimes were mean as shit, aoe spread hit those without shadows for 500+. This combined with limited numbers equaled fail

but i fucked around with boss for lulz
