Back in the day, I joined a linkshell called AFMercs. The objective was, of course, to get everyone their AF. Our very first key hunt took place in the Eldieme Necropolis, in a full alliance, with the highest level being a lv61 DRK (Icarus, for those oldschooler Bahamuts).

Suffice to say, we got blood aggro and the once-mighty band of adventurers were now nothing more than a bunch of noobs waiting for raise 3. A key never dropped.

AFMercs broke less than a week later.

Icarus is the reason I first went DRK. I remember him taking me through the Zelkfutt's tower mission.

And I remember back when levelling DRK, I was asked to tank in Garliage Citadel because 'you wear heavy armor just like a paladin so you shouldn't take any more damage then one!'.
