What was the event way back when. That capped you at lv. 1, and sent you to zones and you had to find like a ??? or some stuff? I remember doing that and not being able to get sneak or invis off :x because I didn't know how to cancel status effects. Lol

Depends on how they run it. They could have easily prevented mining by making it so that you couldn't mine with the level cap on or warp back immediately after dying. Not to mention that these areas do have a few true sight mobs scattered about while the old ones didn't.

If you have to get all 5 moogles from writing haikus to open this event up I'll be upset, because I love poking around zones. It seems sort of sort of suspicious that this haiku event and the unlockable "special event" would pop up when those goal posts and moogles are sitting in the dats, since the 2004 one took place in July as well.

Just speculation, but I'd love to see it happen.
