I remember when Ru'Avitau was the best meripo spot in the game, and was also a week's worth of farming. If you camped in main for two hours, you'd walk away with 50k worth of wind crystals.

And the heroic, amazing Japanese high-levels who came into Garlaige for the escort quests, and saved the day by killing the hordes of beetles, wingrats and skeletons chilling atop the corpses of hapless noobs at the zone line.

I remember when having sleepga II was considered a luxury for blms.

It was just too damn expensive.. or some such bullshit.

Mind you I had it when I dinged... but others just though I was spoiled or w/e.

yeah.. sleepga II a luxury... my god how things have changed.

I never understood why BLMs never had this spell. I got a group together to kill the NM when I was able to use it. It's a quest spell, spend a day to kill the NM, instead of farming for 2 weeks to buy it >.>

Don't get me wrong every blm should have sleepga II, nothing frustrates me more than helping a 75blm with a ks30 saying ok youre 2nd or 3rd sleep and they reply "i dont have sleepga II". The kicker is when we all get shit and they make out with 1 vclaw and a dignot and when asked if theyre going to buy sleepga II they say lol no.

Anyways i quested it after I had been 75 for awhile for the sole purpose of selling it since I bought it at whatever I leveled it and I must say all those pre-reqs were a massive pain in the ass. Took me well over a month to get everything done

Hahahaha I remember the Gigogoomba/Makojin drama. Basically Makojin treated Gigogoomba/Setsuko like shit and she came to BG forums explaining the whole situation and asking for advice. I don't remember the specifics but BG told her to grow a fucking spine and GTFO, and she went all emo and edited all her posts.

It was such a sweet e-relationship too, they even got an in-game marriage ;_;

I certinaly don't miss the arrowburn parties. All of my parties on BRD from 60 to 70 were Arrowburns. But then I've never really agreed with the "ultimate" party set up mentality. Was amusing to see all the RNGs jump on the bandWARgon, though.

I do, however, miss the camps I used on those parties. TAU zones are great exp, but they get tiresome. Quicksand Caves, Cape Terrigan, Valley of Sorrows, Boyahda... So many zones in the game now only being used by RMT.
