Back in November 2004, I had a friend who needed the WHM AF1 RNG NM Marchelute killed. We decided to make Marchelute the Gatekeeper of Selbina, and the test would be if someone could survive one of his shots.

Night fell and the ??? was promptly clicked. Off we went with Marchelute in hot pursuit! As soon as we zoned out of Selbina, Marchelute's reign of terror had already commenced. As this was during the days when there were upwards of 200 people in the dunes, Marchelute had plenty of targets to pick off. The main type of victims were newbs who got goblin aggro and were making a mad dash for freedom at the zone. I'm sure the irony wasn't lost on them when they were promptly oneshotted.

All good things must come to an end, and Marchelute's killing spree was no exception. Before departing the Dunes, Marchelute had contributed 25+ kills to the beastmen liberation effort. His greatest kill ever would be a level 16 DRK named Sepirothxssj

A historian scribed this event, warning future generations of the terror of Marchelute.

I often wondered what would have happened if Marchelute had been accompanied by his SAM AF2 NM buddies.......

I remember there being such an awesome train outside, that I actually convinced a party to come with me to Bubu, it was nice. :D

Also gotta love when there was a high level stationed at the gate almost all the time to clear trains.
