Okay everyone, finally some concrete results. I'll try not to post speculation, and label it as speculation if it is so. Myself and others at GameSwitch have been testing bot settings and pushing the limits on Club Live.
Zeroed Accounts
When I say Zeroed accounts, I mean that when you log out and back in, or try to place an order, and your tickets are reduced to zero, this is a zeroed account. It appears that accounts that have been zeroed are unable to gain points without zeroing again.
Firefox
It appears that Firefox will let some people get tickets. These tickets may or may not be zeroed, we did not test on this. One thing is sure, it will not let you sign out if you are using FF.
IP's
We suspect that IP's are checked but are not sure. If in doubt, the best thing to do is to reset your ip (reset your router if your isp provides dynamic IP, or use a proxy on a static IP) and then create a new account.
The IP thing was tested by creating a new account on an IP that had a previously zeroed account. It got zeroed as well. Looking back on it, it's possible that the person on that test was using livemacro at a low delay, I don't think so, but maybe. Still, changing IP's is the safest thing. Also, peope creating new accounts were getting zeroed even with legit play, and I was the first one there who was able to keep my points, after I reset my IP.
LiveMacro
LiveMacro still works in IE7. The thing is the new time thresholds.
Time Thresholds
From our research, it appears that every 500 points or so, M$ checks to see how long it took. If you are gaining at an illegitimate rate, your account will be zeroed. If you bot 10 points, you don't get zeroed, but if you bot 700, you do. There are ways to get around it.
Time checks
It has been known for a while (I forget the thread) that as part of the information the flash sends, it sends time started and time finished. This does give M$ a method to record time spent.
