I get every transportation aid like this the moment it comes out...which, I must say, is not necessarily the wisest decision! Had I gone over the paths I'd need to tread getting the 3 telepoints, doing all the new quests and mission-quests, and questing my DNC AF, I could have saved myself a lot of redundant walking.

So...get your stuff done! But find out how many other things you can easily do along the way. Don't go overboard on this, though...waiting around to get a maw because you'll eventually get around to starting a quest that happens along the way isn't such a good plan.
