JP ONRY right? I kinda want this game, but I've pretty much played this to hell already...job system seems good but I dunno if there's enough to warrant a new buy.

screw buying! testing these games ftw, figure it all out in JP then wait for engrish release and be a fountain of knowledge!
International releases aren't being released in the US, just like they're not bringing KH2 FM here...
That being said, why the hell would you buy it? Blackcats is your friend.
I'm not holding out any hope at all that this is going to be released in the states. We didn't get FFX Intl. we didn't get KH2 FM+ why would they suddenly turn cool and give us this?
You could import it, but I have no idea how to undo the region lock.![]()
I still don't get why there isn't an NA compatible version, they could even just make it available by order so they don't need to spend money stocking it.
The 'International' version is even in english ffs.
Missing out on a lot of money.
Not really. Stores are still stocking the original FFXII.Originally Posted by Ichikun

At least not enough to make it not worth it.
(Did that make any sense?)
NA people don't think like JP... JP will buy any version of the game, even if SE released 5 of them.
NAs (again, majority..) only care for one version and wouldn't fork another 50 dollars for the same game with a few added fights and effects here and there..
For this reason exactly, SE prefers to keep the international version in JP (it's called international because its got english voice overs but jp test) and they still leave it open for NAs to purchase it if they decide to import by keeping the english voices in the game.
FFX international was in english and released in europe because SE fucked up and took ages to give them the game, so to make it up to the europeans they gave them the international version.. any other international/remake since then has been with english voices and jp text, and was only released in Japan.
Why do they even bother calling it international anyway if the majority of them are only released in Japan.
And it's not fair![]()
Maybe the word "international" is only in the English title, and the real title is more like "More stuff for us cause we're just that much more awesome than honky over there".
I just explained in my last post why it's named International heh..
Wonder if I should get this at BC, kinda reluctant because I didn't even finish FF12 ;o
I don't see how keeping the American voice actors makes it international.Originally Posted by Exoduso
Because american voice cast + jp text = international?
It should defnitely be more entertaining than the original... and probably harder cus you'll end up using all 6 characters instead of just using 3 for the entire game (i'm sure different boss fights/situations will call for different jobs, and since each char can only have 1 job throughout the course of an entire gameplay, having 6 different jobs would give you the edge over only using 3 of them..)Originally Posted by Meteora
Wait, so you can use all 6 at the same time (just woke up lol). In the previous you could rotate all, hence, use all six... Anyways, I read some descriptions at BC and the whole text is in jap, which is meh ;x (unless I read it wrong since I just woke up o.OOriginally Posted by Exoduso
Exo, you stole that avatar from BC :O Btw, the dude there was holding a big ass lollipop and confused it with the iron. God that show was so funny 8D
I don't think the new system is really gonna force you to use the different characters/jobs, you can pretty much beat the game using a couple melees and a healer.
Like FFXI with half the PT space.
lol yup I did, but it's funny.Originally Posted by Meteora

Actually, you can use 4 at a time now, and there are 8 characters <.< (Well, actually, I'm not too sure, we were told Larsa and that other guy were gonna be able to join your party, but it might just be meaning we can control guests now, idk :/)
They also commented on this being an "easy mode" version as you can make money a lot easier, and such.
