I hate it when people say everyone in America are immigrants. The founders and anyone who was here in 1776 (and their descendants) aren't immigrants, unless you consider even the founders immigrants because they came from somewhere else to found it, but then pretty much every country on earth would be populated by immigrants, even the oldest European and African nations.

Technically (as far as the government is concerned) , not even someone whose parents came from across the ocean is an immigrant if they were born here. And if you consider them immigrants in the spirit of what people who say America is full of immigrants mean, then there's many many countries out there that are just the same.

Whether or not America is considered to be populated by immigrants has as much relevance to anything as the sky being purple.

oh hell yeah. I made a crapload of BLT's for the boat ride yesterday and they were equally tasty. The boat came equipped with a small bbq too. Fucking perfect day.
