New monitor needs help

Hi, need a bit of help with my new monitor

Just got a new 22' and trying to optimize its resolution, only I can't find 1680x1050 listed (only got up to 1600x900)

So surfed a few sites and I learned that I need a updated or custom .inf file, so if anybody could tell me where to get one or even a better way to get that resolution I'd be very grateful.

Which video card do you have? Your video card could be bottlenecking your new monitor right now. Updating drivers might help as well.

i found a program called PowerStrip that let me customize resolution to get 1680x1050..... hopefully it won't burn through my video card or monitor lol

oh and my vcard is geforce 6800 ultra
