Because clearly Poochie should have stayed dead, and the era of "let's just give a likable cartoon character sunglasses and 'tude" will never seem to end, blocking out all hope of animation design that's built on fun. Cartoons just aren't as fun as they used to be, and this ceaseless rape of old '80s mediocrities is the same as if you've had nothing to drink but New Coke for 25 years. These movie studios just don't care, they've given up.

but surely theres much better things to get upset about, movie studios ran out of good ideas a LONG time ago, they're actions are just getting more blatant and severe now. anytime i hear of a movie like this coming out, i figure worse case scenario it gives me something to burn one down to at home. push come to shove you just dont watch.

omg lol, I think they were shooting that movie in RI when I was there. I think the guy from the first Matrix is in it, the guy that betrayed them in the end. I remember walking past a shoot and him walking out of some building and walking a dog. I had to go around my usual route home from work because they took up a block or two for shooting for a couple of days.

I can't remember if it was Underdog, but I swear someone said it was when I was talking about it at work the next day.
