Think about what you're saying, do you really want them making a revival of it?Originally Posted by Ksandra
They already killed Garfield (twice! 7 more lives to go I guess), and not this. If they make a live action movie out of Heathcliff, I'll be pissed.
But Ducktales is Disney, so I would hope they wouldn't screw it up too much.
The one from 1990 doesn't count?Originally Posted by Ksandra

By ducktales movie I ment cartoon not live action.
And not all 80s revivals have been bad. (transformers comes to mind).
I like to just enjoy them rather than thinking "but it was really like this!!!"
As long as they don't touch Darkwing Duck or The Goonies, I don't care what they do
SO....MUCH....ANGER
ehh i cant bring myself to be this upset over a movie. it has jason lee, so theres going to be something funny in it. and for fucks sake is ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS!
and yeah, why the general comotion over a movie?![]()
Why get upset? Because clearly Poochie should have stayed dead, and the era of "let's just give a likable cartoon character sunglasses and 'tude" will never seem to end, blocking out all hope of animation design that's built on fun. Cartoons just aren't as fun as they used to be, and this ceaseless rape of old '80s mediocrities is the same as if you've had nothing to drink but New Coke for 25 years. These movie studios just don't care, they've given up.
What's next? A Heathcliff movie?
close but no cigar..What's next? A Heathcliff movie?

but surely theres much better things to get upset about, movie studios ran out of good ideas a LONG time ago, they're actions are just getting more blatant and severe now. anytime i hear of a movie like this coming out, i figure worse case scenario it gives me something to burn one down to at home. push come to shove you just dont watch.Originally Posted by Correction

Seriously it's ok, it's not like they are destroying the original reels and your brains so you can never watch the originals again. If you don't want to don't go see it, but if kids today are enjoying them then let them.
omg lol, I think they were shooting that movie in RI when I was there. I think the guy from the first Matrix is in it, the guy that betrayed them in the end. I remember walking past a shoot and him walking out of some building and walking a dog. I had to go around my usual route home from work because they took up a block or two for shooting for a couple of days.Originally Posted by Ksandra
I can't remember if it was Underdog, but I swear someone said it was when I was talking about it at work the next day.
Being raised by The Rock would make you gangster. 8)

I apologize for the necrobump of small proportions. Cinematical trailer out and to be honest.. my childhood memories were not raped. It actually looks half-decent and they changed their appearance.
The new appearance definately looks much better than that movie poster.
Did... Did that chipmunk just eat a piece of shit?
Still looks like crap.
Just crap that might be good if they don't fuck it up
Bet you didn't think you'd be saying those words together when you woke up today.Originally Posted by Bagel
