How does your LS do loot on KS99?

orb holder chooses 1 item. The rest go free lot UNLESS the free lot stuff is worth more than 100k or so.

Used to be split the rest but a lot of the ks99 stuff is really garbage. I think the leaders just got tired of trying to sell all the stuff worth 5-10k etc.

Thats how the LS I'm in does it at least.

Yes, the orb holder gives us 99 seals but not like they are worth squat without the help and time of 17 other ppl.

This is the sort of greedy mentality you find in linkshells where leaders each have 3+ relics. "Everything you do we own", a system built to exploit members to build a bank for the core gamers.

If you think it's unfair that you have to sometimes actaully HELP SOMEONE in a 15min fight then let the orb owner pick 1 item (most valuable) and split the rest on the helpers, usaly the BB item goes to a MNK/sold outside.

My LS lets orb owner get everything and they are happy to help me with the fight, not like your greedy face.

Orb holder picks out two items. Freelot everything else. Granted, our HNMLS never does just one KS99 in a session, more like 5-6.

That's a retarded way of doing it. Why should I have stuff on my orb go to everyone else? Eff that!

Either way, my ls does 'your orb, your drop' with MNK items varies with each persons' run.

I know this is a necro but I have a valid question. For those LSs that do YOYD (as my old LS did). If a BB item dropped, did the orb holder have the option of selling it to an outside person and keeping the gil?

We do it as your orb your loot. BB items to those who need.

Everybody gets points for attending. We use HNM drops for bank/auctions, KS99 are for the members directly.

We do 3 different KS99 events when our pop NM/ks week rolls around, for those who want to use theirs on turtle/behe.. Personally I can't understand passing up the chance at a speed belt but thats up to them.

Edit, I don't think we've ever sold a BB item to an outside person, but we've given them away to friends iirc

We do orb = drop. Anything else is retarded considering you can beat all of the 99's low man.

We do it where orb holder picks 2 items from his drop pool, rest goes to LS. Yes, if BB item is in pool, he can pick it as one of his 2, sell it, and keep the gil.
