Well the way I see it it has 4 outcomes;

alot of sales histories have been empty for me recently too..

unless a ton of people have suddenly gotten paranoid all at once, I think there might be an issue with FFXIAH recently.

Also, maybe the people are electing not to show sales history so people can't do background checks on them. I for one have my sales history set to 10, just so I can see if something sells, but I don't want someone going back to see what i've crafted to make money.

unless approximately 12 of the twenty names I'm aware of being in or above my smithing tier all decided to hide their histories the same weekend (which is a possibility, although remote) I really don't think that's it. - I'm also fairly certain they didn't transfer out or I would think the old history would remain?

edit: just checked the front page, below the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the page, there's a notice: "Player histories will be down for a short period." looks like they were having issues after all.
