"Why" is the question I don't have the answer to. In truth I have pissed of lots of people in my time on FFXI, so it could be anyone of the possible hundreds? I wouldn't be able to name any off of the top of my head who would hold a personal grude over me save 1. This person believes I hacked her account even when I presented her with overwhelming evidence in the form of screenshots that I didn't..could be her, but I doubt it.

How seems to be a trojan, that's the only way of getting my POL ID seeing as I haven't typed it in 6 months, which is when I had to reinstall POL/FFXI. How the trojan got on was and still is a mystery to me, only things I downloaded 1 week before I got hacked were a battlefield 2142 crack, and a cheat thingy for it (I was on holiday with my girlfriend at the time, so could only play on my laptop when she was in bed in the morning or when she'd gone to bed in the evening etc), hence I didn't play on FFXI at all really..jumped on to say hi I think twice and checked my sales a few times, that's it.

They just said "oh, my friend /befriended him so that's how we know". lol? If someone used a keylogger or stole your info from somewhere, logged you in, "hacked" your shit, then took most of your stuff, do you think there would be some kind of magical evidence left behind for you to strike back at them with? PM me the name of the person on Kujata you suspect it is and I'll check into it myself.

If you do a search for pookiepoo in the friend search thingy it comes up with that ID number, if you search for the ID number itself it won't show anything because his profile is set to private.

The second person is who's RL info you have, as they were the ones with the account when you got it back. So how exactly did you get Jen's personal information? SE gave it to you?

Is the whole police/fbi/blah blah thing involved only because there was a trojon or something on Stocky's computer, or could all accounts stolen from just knowing info/pw be brought back on the thief the same way? As far as I know from randomly checking my information the full credit card info isn't shown in pol anywhere. Just the card type and last 4. Correct? They asked extensive questions about which CC we used to register with first, what we changed the CC to and approx date when the CC was changed when account was taken, they also asked about my registration codes which we had on hand.

I will admit, I did bot on ffxi and I did download hacks for a long time, but that was prolly a good 7-8 months ago, I haven't downloaded anything of the sort recently and that I can promise.
