How would you reformat your PC? You'd back up all your data, insert your Windows CD, tell it to format the drive or partition you have Windows on, reinstall the OS, reinstall your applications, update your drivers, twiddle with your settings, throw your media files back on there, quick defrag, job done.

ROFL, i'm giving him a worst case scenerio. It takes me 2 hours to format, install, and get everything up and running. I was giving him a 48 hour "benefit of the doubt" time limit.

By the way, for the people asking Septimus to give us the guys IP, unfortunately that would be illegal. I think though he can report it to the authorities or something, but I know sharing it over a forum is an invasion of privacy.

Could you link me the law to back that up? I don't see how it could be illegal in any way. The person posted on the forums, it isn't like they have never posted here.

I'm not exactly sure where it is but I remember another old drama thread like this came up and some admin said they couldn't give out the IP... Just sharing that information. It may or may not be accurate, but that's just what I remember.

I'd go somewhere else and change PW if I could, nearest person that has FFXI on their computer that I know is a good hours drive from me. And with me being without a motorcycle (can drive those 16+) I can't get there.

He says he has a family member who has his info. If you can trust your family member why the hell wouldn't you call them up and get them to change it for you.
