If he has a brain at all he would ask them to reformat as well. They are responsible for the well-being of his character from all actions from their computer/console. If they are downloading malicious content and got him hacked<doesn't make much sense that they wouldn't hack the said family member as well> then they should want to reformat because it puts their info at rish as well.

All this being said, it doesn't seem to come from malicious hardware, more like this Jens person has a vendetta against him, or they are just working together to make this look "real."

I need to clarify some issues here...

1) I am the family person who has Stocky`s account.
2) I keep his account on the spare desktop computer which i hardly ever use.(I mainly use laptop)
3) There is no software of that kind in that computer to get it hacked into.
4) After we know that Stocky is hacked, we farmed cpl of hours to make some gil back- which i synthed items and sent him the money the other day and i know the money is taken from the delivery box when Stocky is out of the house. (Thats where we know Jens, Pookiepoo, or etc is involved in this matter) (And the funny thing is i sold my hauby to help with means of money, which Stocky did buy with the money our friends sent to him, and unluckily that hauby has been taken by this Jens as well apart from other items he has got into his mule and sold : Pookiepoo)
5) I contacted to get his password back when he`s been hacked second time, but no POL help could i get since it was weekend- no response on their phone help- nor the webchat-etc)
6) As i`m being told from GMs, there is no way to recover this items, money etc, then we heard from a friend that the restoration can be done via POL and we will try to sort this out mainly in Monday.
7) There is no way that Stocky would try to get money from friends-etc and me cause he had considerable amount of money in items and gils, and he doesn`t need to ask me for anything, he is allowed to take all my belongings - items -account -etc cause we are very close family members. And for our friends that helped- we know each other for long enough time to trust each other and money is not a problem between us, that is even easily recoverable.
8) I understand that people here might think differently but in the main, reason of this thread is to find the person who did this to us and the reason behind it. If anyone knows this person please let us know.

More like I made a streak of misinformed/bad decisions leading up to the stealing of my account. I didn't even know how my account got hacked the first time which renders me relatively unable to act. It may be a keylogger, I may have to format. But if it's not a keylogger, and I do format, I lose all the stuff I can't save onto discs.
